Prize #1: Sparkle & Splash - $15,000 Diamond & $10,000 Towards Your Hinterland Wedding
Prize #2: Most Loved Wedding Package valued at over $20,000
1. The Competition forms part of the Maleny Wedding Festival Trail Summer 2023 and is managed
and promoted by Hinterland Tourism Sunshine Coast.
2. Entries Close at 3pm on Sunday 15th January 2023
3. The Prize Entry process involves all of the following to be completed:
a) Registering to attend the FREE Maleny Wedding Festival event at
https://www.trybooking.com/CEMCRb) Purchasing a $10 Entry Ticket for either one or both prize draws to enter each Prize Draw
separately until 3.00pm on 15th January via this TryBooking link -
https://www.trybooking.com/CEMCR4. The winner will be drawn at random on Tuesday 17th January 2023, and broadcast on Facebook
on the Hinterland Tourism Sunshine Coast page -
https://www.facebook.com/VisitSunshineCoastHinterland5. The prize draw video will also be shared on the Maleny Wedding Festival Instagram
(

6. The Winner will be notified on Tuesday 17th January 2023 by phone and email. Should the
winner not claim their prize by 27th January 2023, a re-draw will take place on Tuesday 31st
January 2023.
7. The details of the winner will be published by Hinterland Tourism Sunshine Coast at an agreed
time between the winner and HTSC.
8. The prizes in their entirety, or any unused portion, are not transferable to another person or
persons and are not redeemable for cash.
9. The decision of the judges (HTSC) about the winner and the eligibility of the nominated
exhibitors will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Prize #1 - Sparkle & Splash - $15,000 Diamond & $10,000 Towards Your Hinterland Wedding
10. The major prize includes a stunning 2.07 carat oval cut diamond to the value of over $15,000
from Maleny Jewellers, plus a jewellery design consultation experience with Award Winning
Jeweller, Jim Goulton.
11. During the personal consultation, Maleny Jewellers will present the diamond officially to the
winner along with all GIA certifications for insurance purposes.
12. The second part of the prize includes wedding goods and services to the value of $10,000 to be
redeemed from five (5) wedding suppliers, including a Hinterland Wedding Venue, exhibiting at
the 2023 Summer Maleny Wedding Festival Trail, that are current members of Hinterland
Tourism Sunshine Coast for the year 2022-2023.
13. This event must be held in our defined Sunshine Coast Hinterland Region for you to be an
eligible winner. Hinterland Tourism Sunshine Coast is not responsible for the services of the
suppliers chosen at the prize winner’s discretion.
14. The $10,000 prize funds must be used by the date of 31 July 2024.
15. This prize is not transferable for cash.
Prize #2: Most Loved Wedding Package valued at over $20,000
16. This package is comprised of 25 Hinterland wedding suppliers sponsoring a variety of wedding
services to be redeemed by the prize winner at their discretion.
17. In the categories of the Wedding Venue, Photography and Musician, the winner can choose only
one of these preferred suppliers in each category.
18. Terms and Conditions are subject to the individual supplier’s Terms and Conditions, and each
sponsored prize included in the prize pool is valid for 18 months from the Prize Draw date. No
credits are applicable if the supplier is not available on your chosen date.
19. This prize is not transferable for cash.
