Terms and Conditions – Back To School Promotion 2023
Information on how to enter and the conditions of entry form part of these Terms and Conditions.
Participation in the Competition is deemed acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. The “Promoter” is Mount
Sheridan Plaza, 106 Barnard Road, Mount Sheridan QLD 4868. ABN: 68 266 146 096
PRIZES
The first 40 people who meet the eligibility criteria including showing proof of purchase for spending $30 or
more during the promotion period at any Specialty Store (this excludes Majors and Services) will receive 2
randomly selected vouchers from retailers listed below.
40 winners will receive 2 x $25 Gift Vouchers each valid at either Williams Shoes, Tazmyrtle Designs,
Meraki Curlz and Newspower Mt Sheridan. Vouchers will be selected at random and done on a first-come basis.
HOW TO ENTER:
To enter the draw, participants must spend $30 or more from a participating retailer between 3 - 17 January,
2023 and obtain a receipt to show at Centre Management.
DURATION
January 3-17, 2023 or until all prizes have been claimed.
ELIGIBILITY & TERMS
1. Entry is open to residents 18 and over living in the Cairns Region from Atherton, to Port Douglas to
Cardwell and all postcodes in-between.
2. Employees and Retailers of Mount Sheridan Plaza and immediate families are ineligible to enter.
“Immediate family member” means any parent, spouse, sibling, child, defacto and/or any other family
member residing at the same address as that person.
3. The first 40 eligible entrants will receive 2 x $25 gift vouchers selected at random valid at the
participating retailers listed above.
4. Only 1 person per family unit may claim a voucher throughout the duration of the promotion.
5. Centre Management’s decision on winners is final and conclusive and no comment or correspondence
will be entered into.
6. The promotion ends 17 January 2023 or as soon as vouchers have all been won.
7. The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to notify the public if the promotion ends sooner than this
advertised date. The Promoter will post on social media when the competition ends, and remove
promotional material from the mall.
8. Prize vouchers are valid until 22 January, 2023. Vouchers used after this date will not be accepted by
retailers.
9. Any additional spend over the $25 voucher amount is on the customer.
10. No cash will be given and vouchers must be used in one transaction, cannot be used to purchase
other gift vouchers or exchanged for cash.
11. All winners are required to sign the Promoter’s Prize Form.
12. Prizes must be collected in person within 2 weeks of notification, otherwise the prize will be forfeited.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of identity, proof of residency and proof of entry
validity. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the
absolute discretion of the Promoter. If a winner(s) cannot provide suitable proof the winner(s) will
forfeit the Prize in whole and no substitute prize will be offered.
14. The Promoter reserves the right, at their discretion to adjudicate on the eligibility of applicants;
disqualify any participant, and modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition without notice.
15. While it is highly unusual for prizes to change, the Promoter has the right to alter prizes with no notice
to entrants.
16. The Promoter is not liable for any issue, injury, or dissatisfaction arising from the prize with all matters
related to the prize directed to the nominated retailer.
17. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct
or consequential loss) or any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Prize except
for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
18. Entrants agree to the Promoter using information provided for purposes of the general administration
and for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes. Entrants should direct any
request to access, update, remove, or correct information direct to the Promoter.
19. Winners agree that Mount Sheridan Plaza take photos for promotional, marketing and publicity
purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to you.
20. You consent to us using and storing the information you have provided to us for the purposes of the
general administration and will be managed in accordance with the Privacy Act.
