Unleash your creativity and win big in Student Edge’s iPad Challenge!
You can create epic digital notes and illustrations with iPad and Apple Pencil, and we’re challenging you to show us yours.
We’ve got two categories for you to enter, so keep reading for all the deets!
What’s in it for me?
A lot.
The challenge will run for four weeks, with one winner per week for each category receiving $200!
Plus, we’ve got two grand prizes of $1000 for each category, announced at the end of the competition.
And there’s more. This year we’re introducing a weekly poll prize of $100 – the notes or illustrations with the most votes win! A third grand prize, called the Student’s Choice prize, is worth $1000 and will be announced alongside the other two grand prizes.
How can I take part?
There are two ways you can enter the iPad Challenge:
Show us your best notes - Submit any type of note you like, as long as it’s made on iPad with Apple Pencil. It could be an idea you're exploring, a concept you're learning, or a problem you're solving.
Show us your best illustrations – if you’ve got a masterpiece to share, now’s your chance. Send in your most creative illustrations!
This challenge is open to anyone who lives in Australia (12 years and older) and creates notes or illustrations on an iPad with Apple Pencil. You can use your own iPad, borrow a friends’, or check your local Apple Store opening hours to get sketching!
CATEGORY 1: NOTES
We’re keen to see any note that you’re proud of having created on iPad with Apple Pencil.
Examples of entries that qualify for the notes category include (but aren’t limited to): checklists, study notes, action plans, diary entries, flow charts, coding maps, timelines, calendars, essay plans, diagrams, flash cards and more!
CATEGORY 2: ILLUSTRATIONS
Show us your artistic flair and send in illustrations you’re most proud of having made on iPad and with an Apple Pencil!
Examples of entries that qualify for the notes category include (but aren’t limited to): drawings, sketches, graphic designs, comics, cartoons, doodles, academic, anime, technical, line, fashion, pop art and more!
Instagram Submission Instructions
Upload a photo or screenshot of your entry to your personal Instagram account with the hashtag #ipadchallenge in the caption.
Email Submission Instructions
Send an email to
ipadchallenge@studentedge.com.au with a photo or screenshot of your notes attached. In the email subject line, make sure to include your full name and category of entry.
