Clean Up Australia Day 2023

We're excited to launch our Keep Hume Clean initiative on Sunday 5 March for Clean Up Australia Day.

We're encouraging all Hume residents to join a clean up already happening in your local area or host your own clean up, and then come along for a free BBQ lunch at Broadmeadows Town Hall from 11.30am. Hume City Mayor, Cr Joseph Haweil will share our plans for tackling waste in Hume and offer his thanks for helping us to Keep Hume Clean.

We'll also be launching our waste mascot and announcing the winner of our mascot naming competition! The person who submits the winning name will win a $250 gift card.

There'll be show bags, free sausages and door prizes. We'll see you there!
