Northern Irish police procedural drama ‘Bloodlands’ follows Detective Chief Inspector Tom Brannick and his colleagues DS Niamh McGovern and DCS Jackie Twomey as they investigate complex cases with links to Tom’s troubled past.
In season one, the team pursue a legendary assassin codenamed Goliath who evaded capture during the Troubles.
In series two, Brannick attempts to use Tori Matthews (a love interest and the daughter of one of Goliath’s victims) to frame his boss, Jackie Twomey, for the old Goliath murders. When that fails, Tori realises Brannick might actually be Goliath – and she decides to make him confess and pay for his sins.
