Terms and Conditions – Fashion Week Facebook Competition
1 Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

3 The competition opens 8:30am AEST 17 April 2023 and closes 11:59pm AEST 23 April 2023.
How to enter
4 Entry is open to permanent residents of Australia and New Zealand, who are over the age of 18 years old. Permanent and casual employees, contractors, subcontractors of the Promoter and members of such persons’ immediate families are not eligible to enter this competition.
5 To successfully enter the competition, participants must like and follow the TVSN Facebook Page, like the Fashion Week competition post, and comment with their answer to the question in 25 words or less ”How do you define your style and why?”. Comments can be in text or image format – both are acceptable.
6 Entrants may enter once only and will be automatically entered once their comment is submitted onto the Promoter’s competition Facebook post.
7 This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the Winner. The Promoter will judge the entries on their individual merit and select a Winner. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered with Entrants regarding its decision.
8 Notwithstanding clause 5, incomplete and incomprehensible entries will be ineligible to enter the competition. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to deem any incomplete or incomprehensive entries ineligible.
9 The Promoter reserves the right to use the content of winning entries for the purpose of future promotions. The right to use granted in this clause includes a right to modify, adapt and exploit the content of the winning entries for use in this competition or any other competition conducted by the Promoter, its related entities or commercial partners. To the extent moral rights exist in the content of winning entries, the right to use extends to a right to use the content in the winning entries without attribution of the author and a right to make any form of modification without first obtaining the consent of the author.
10 The Promoter reserves the right to remove any entry if it deems necessary.
11 The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12 Entrants must not include any offensive or inappropriate material in their entries or any material that if used by the Promoter would infringe any third party intellectual property rights. The Promoter reserves the right to invalidate such entries it deems offensive or inappropriate.
Prize Details and their value
13 There is one prize / one Winner. The prize is an Aimee Kestenberg Lovers Lane Cross body Handbag.
14 The total prize value is $499.00. Values are in AUD and are correct at the time of printing.
15 The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any change in the value of the prize occurring between the publishing date and the date the prize is claimed.
16 Subject to the relevant state authority approval, if the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize of equal or greater value and/or specification.
17 The Promoter reserves the right to withhold a prize from a Winner if the prize Winner’s TVSN account is in arrears.
Winner Draw
18 The Winner will be announced on 19 April 2023 via phone, email and the Promoter’s website (
www.itvsn.com.au and
www.tvsn.co.nz).
19 If the Promoter becomes aware after an Entrant has won the prize that the Entrant did not comply with these Terms and Conditions, then that Entrant will have no entitlement to the prize, even if the Promoter has announced them as a Winner, and that Entrant will be required, at the direction of the Promoter, to return or refund the prize.
20 If the prize remains unclaimed within 1 week of the announcement date, then the prize will be forfeited by the original Winner and the Promoter may, at its own discretion, reselect another Entrant on 26 April 2023 as Winner.
21 The prize will be transferred or sent to the Winner within 28 days of being announced and claimed.
Rules for Facebook
22 Entrants must not inaccurately tag content or encourage users to tag content inaccurately.
23 Entering this competition constitutes a release of Facebook by each Entrant or participant, and acknowledgment that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
24 As a condition of entry to the competition, the Entrant agrees to release and indemnify the Promoter and Facebook from and against any liability, loss, cost, damage, claim, demand, proceeding or litigation of any kind relating to the use or participation in the competition. The Entrant agrees that the Promoter may request that the Entrant sign an agreement to effect this release.
General
25 The Promoter, their associated agents, and companies associated with this promotion will take no responsibility for prizes damaged, lost or delayed in transit.
26 The Promoter is not responsible for any technical malfunctions or problems with internet or network congestion, including injury or damage to a participant’s or any other person's computer related to participation in this competition and problems with transmission of entries over the internet. The Promoter will accept no responsibility for lost, late or misdirected entries.
27 Subject to relevant state authority approval, the Promoter reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions of this competition at any time.
28 Subject to relevant state authority approval, the Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, at any time before the awarding of the prize to cancel the competition or to vary or cancel the award of the prize including, without limitation, circumstances where in the Promoter's opinion (which it shall form in its absolute discretion):
a. a prize Winner does not satisfy the competition entry requirements; or
b. the Promoter cannot conduct the competition or award the prize for any reason beyond its control.
29 Subject to relevant state authority approval, if the Promoter cancels the competition or varies or withdraws the prize it will not:
a. be liable to any person for any loss or damage (including loss or damage caused by any negligence) arising out of, or in connection with, such cancellation, variation, or withdrawal; and
b. be required to conduct the competition at any other time.
30 Entrants enter the competition at their sole risk. With the exception of liability which cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained or loss or damage to tangible property as a result of accepting and using the prize or entering the competition.
31 Any attempt, deliberate or otherwise, to cause malicious damage or interference with the normal functioning of the Promoter’s website(s), the information on the Promoter’s website and Facebook may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should an attempt be made, whether successful or not, the Promoter reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
32 The Promoter reserves its right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to tampering with the entry process, engaging in any unlawful or other improper misconduct that is calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the competition. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion.
33 The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an Entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that Entrant invalid.
34 Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the Entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
Privacy
