With a damn solid cast including Corey Hawkins (The Tragedy of Macbeth), Aisling Franciosi (The Nightingale), Liam Cunningham (Game of Thrones) and David Dastmalchian (The Suicide Squad), the film adapts ‘The Captain’s Log’ chapter from Bram Stoker’s classic novel Dracula.
Synopsis: The terrifying story of the merchant ship Demeter, which was chartered to carry private cargo—fifty unmarked wooden crates—from Transylvania to London. Strange and horrifying events befall the doomed crew as they attempt to survive the ocean voyage, stalked each night by a merciless presence onboard the ship: a legendary vampire known as Dracula.
