Sydney’s Pre-Release Screening of ‘Sound of Freedom’

Register below for your chance to go along to a pre-release screening of Sound of Freedom, rated M, at Event Cinemas Castle Hill on Wednesday August 23.

Sound of Freedom creates a way to bring awareness and start conversations about the issue of human trafficking that is impacting people across the globe. We have partnered with Movies Change People and Reel Dialogue for this screening.

See the film plus speak to Destiny Rescue, an Australian not-for-profit committed to fighting for freedom around the world. Destiny Rescue is working to rescue children across 12 countries to bring them freedom and bright futures. They’ll be available to talk to after the film and will have resources for you to help know how you can keep bringing awareness to this issue and make a difference.

Sound of Freedom shines a light on even the darkest of places. After rescuing a young boy from ruthless child traffickers, a federal agent learns the boy’s sister is still captive and decides to embark on a dangerous mission to save her. With time running out, he quits his job and journeys deep into the Colombian jungle, putting his life on the line to free her from a fate worse than death.

Sound of Freedom, rated M, stars Bill Camp, Jim Caviezel, Kurt Fuller, Mira Sorvino, Gerardo Taracena and Eduardo Verástegu. Sound of Freedom is in cinemas nationally from August 24.

The double pass is only valid for the Sydney pre-release screening on Wednesday 23 August 2023 at 6.00pm, Event Cinemas Castle Hill. There will be NO trailers at this screening so the film will be starting promptly at 6:00pm.
