THE PROMOTION
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this
“WIN a $1500 shopping spree” (“Promotion”) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
ELIGIBILITY
2. Subject to condition 3, this Promotion is only open to Australian residents. Entrants must be 18 years
old and over.
3. The following are ineligible: (i) employees of the Promoters, Handmade Canberra or any of the
Promoters’ agencies that are associated with the Promotion; (ii) the spouse, defacto spouse, parent,
child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of an excluded employee; and (iii) any person who the
Promoters have previously notified is not permitted to enter the Promoters’ promotions.
PROMOTION PERIOD
4. The Promotion commences at 9.00am 20/09/2023 AEST on and ends at 5.00pm AEST on 25/10/2023
(“Promotion Period”).
HOW TO ENTER
5. The Promotion will be conducted on the handmade Canberra website and promoted via Facebook, &
Instagram platforms but is in no way administered, sponsored or endorsed by Facebook or Instagram.
6. To receive an entry into the Promotion, eligible individuals must, during the Promotion Period,
undertake the following steps:
a. Complete a valid entry via the sign up form hosted on the Handmade Market Canberra website
including their full name, valid email address, contact phone number and postcode. This entry will
subscribe the eligible entrant to receive emails from the Promoters. It is a condition of entering the
Promotion that the entrant agrees for their personal information to be added to the Promoters’
databases and to be used in accordance with the purposes set out in these Terms and Conditions
as well as for marketing purposes set out in the Handmade Market Canberra Privacy Policy.
LIMITS ON ENTRY
7. One (1) entry per person submitted in accordance with the entry requirements.
DRAW DETAILS
8. The draw will take place at Handmade Canberra’s offices, 60A Phyllis Ashton Cct, Gungahlin ACT
2912 on 25/10/2023. The Promoters reserve the right to draw reserves in case of an invalid entry or
invalid entrant.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
9. The provisional winner will be notified in writing via email within two (2) business days of the draw. A
provisional winner will only be deemed a winner once verified by the Promoters. The winner will also
have their name published on the Handmade Facebook and Instagram pages on 26/10/2023.It the
prize has not been claimed within four (4) business days, the promoters have the right to redraw.
PRIZES
10. The first valid entry drawn will win $1500 worth of Handmade Market gift vouchers to spend at
Handmade Market over the weekend of 28th and 29th October 2023 only. Prize includes 15 x $100
individual vouchers. Prize must be spent at the Handmade Canberra Market on Saturday 28th or
Sunday 29th October 2023 only. Prize cannot be taken on any other dates. Prize is not transferable.
Prize is not redeemable for cash.
11. The winner may be required to present a form of identification on collection of prize.
12. If the winner of the prize is under the age of 18 years, the entry will be deemed invalid, and the prize
redrawn.
GENERAL
13. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
14. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoters reserve the right, in sole discretion,
to determine the identity of the entrant.
15. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. If for
any reason the winner does not take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated, then
the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
16. Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as
cash, unless otherwise specified.
17. Entrants consent to the Promoters using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event
they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an
unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any
outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoters.
18. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably
anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters, including but not
limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoters reserve the right, in
sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any
written directions from a regulatory authority to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as
appropriate.
19. The Promoters’ decision is final. And no correspondence will be entered into.
PRIVACY
20. In order to conduct this Promotion, the Promoters need to collect personal information about each
entrant and may for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to
agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and regulatory authorities. Participation in the
Promotion is conditional on providing this information. It is a condition of entry that the entrant agrees
to being entered into the Handmade Market Canberra database. The Promoters may, for an indefinite
period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research
and profiling purposes, including sending emails and for such other purposes as set out in the
Handmade Market Canberra Privacy Policy. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or
correct information to the Promoters. Upon the entrant’s request, all information provided will be
