@At Lenswood Pick Your Own have 7 different varieties of apples available at different times throughout the year, an onsite cafe with locally produced pastries, ice cream and coffee and great attractions for the kids. They have vintage tractors, dozers, a giant sandpit and outdoor games and a kids scavenger hunt where they can learn how apples are grown.
The owners were both ICU nurses whom bought an apple orchard with no farming experience and have turned it into a fantastic tourism attraction in Lenswood. You can even bring your dog and there is plenty of tables and chairs to sit down at.
Graded pricing - starting at $5 per kg of apples
Entry - Adults $6
Kids 3 and up $3
2 and under are free
Open Wednesdays (from 6th of March) to Friday 9-3
All weekends and public holidays 9-4
Open until the end of may.
Competition closes 7th March 2023.
