Terms and Conditions
Promotion The Star Sydney 1 in 5 Swipestakes – January2024
Promoter The Star Pty Limited (ABN 25 060 510 410) trading as “The Star Sydney” of 80 Pyrmont
Street, Pyrmont NSW 2009.
Promotional Period This Promotion commences at 12:00pm AEDT on Friday, 4 January 2024 and concludes
at 8:00pm AEDT on Tuesday, 2nd April 2024 (“Scheduled End Time”), or earlier, if all
Prizes available to be won are awarded before the Scheduled End Time – the Promoter
will communicate the earlier conclusion of the Promotional Period through on-property
signage.
Eligible Entrants Only persons who are, for the duration of the Promotional Period:
a. aged 18 years or over;
b. an existing member of The Star Club with a valid membership card ("Card");
c. residents of Australia;
d. not excluded (including an exclusion direction, an exclusion order or a self-
exclusion order) from a casino or premises operated by The Star
Entertainment Group Limited (ABN 85 149 629 023) or its related entities
(collectively, “The Star Group”);
e. not the subject of a Withdrawal of License from a casino or premises operated
by The Star Group;
f. not a director, officer, or manager of any of The Star Group entities or of an
organisation benefitting from the Promotion;
g. not an employee or contractor of any of The Star Group entities or of an
organisation benefitting from the Promotion;
h. not an immediate family member of any person listed in paragraph f;
i. not an immediate family member of any employee or contractor listed in
paragraph g where that employee or contractor is responsible for, or involved
in, the set up, determination of any winner or issuing of any Prizes for this
Promotion.
(“Eligible Entrants”).
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, ‘immediate family member’ means a
spouse (including de-facto partner), parent, natural or adopted child or step-child, or
sibling or step-sibling (whether the sibling or step-sibling is natural or adopted by a
parent).
A person who does not satisfy any of the criteria for an “Eligible Entrant” for the duration
of the Promotional Period is an “Invalid Entrant” and their Entry will be deemed invalid
(“Invalid Entry”).
An entrant who is a member of The Star Club and requests to cancel their membership
prior to, or during, the Promotional Period will also be an Invalid Entrant.
Invalid Entrants are not, or will no longer be, eligible to enter or participate in the
Promotion and will forfeit any entitlement to a Prize.
Entry Each day between 12:00pm and 8:00pm (AEDT as applicable in Sydney) of the
Promotional Period, an Eligible Entrant must:
a. visit the member zone location on the main casino floor of The Star Sydney
(“Member Zone”);

b. swipe their Card to activate the marked Member Zone Jackpod Promotional
Device (“Jackpod”);
c. when prompted, enter their membership account PIN on the screen of the
Jackpod;
d. choose the ‘Aztec Gold’ promotional game (“Game”) to start the Game; and
e. play the Game by selecting one (1) of five (5) game idols (“Game Idol”) to
reveal whether they are a winner of a Prize,
(an “Entry”).
Each Entry must be submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
No Entry will be accepted after 8:00pm AEDT on Tuesday, 2 April 2024 or earlier, if all
Prizes are awarded by an earlier time.
Entry Limit Each Eligible Entrant is limited to a maximum of:
a. one (1) Entry per calendar day; and
b. ninety (90) Entries during the Promotional Period.
Each Entry must be submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Prizes The total prize pool for this Promotion is up to AU$1,032,000.
Prizes can be won up until the Scheduled End Time, unless all Prizes available to be won
in the Promotional Period are awarded before the Scheduled End Time. The Promoter
will communicate the earlier conclusion of the Promotional Period through on-property
signage.

The Promoter will not permit Prizes to be transferred, or redeemed or exchanged for
cash.
To support the prevention of money laundering and terrorism financing activities, the
Promoter will honour all monetary prizes by a crossed cheque made out to the Prize
winner, by electronic funds transfer to the winner or by a combination of these
payment options (at the winner's election).
If the Promotional Period concludes before the Scheduled End Time, the Promotion will
end. No Entry will be accepted after the Promotion has ended.
If all Prizes available to be won in the Promotional Period are not awarded by the
Scheduled End Time, the un-won Prizes will be forfeited.
Prize Conditions
Prize No.1 is one (1) BMW 7K32 118i Hatch valued at $61,995 refer to Appendix 1.
Royale Limousines is the supplier (“Prize Supplier”) for the Prize Vehicle. is subject to
the following terms and conditions:
a. The Prize Vehicle includes 12-month registration, compulsory third party
insurance, stamp duty, and dealer delivery charges (which may vary State by
State). Additional insurance, options and all other ancillary costs are the
responsibility of the Prize Winner.
b. The Prize Winner must collect the Prize Vehicle from the Prize Supplier at the
location disclosed by the Promoter after the Promotional Period.
c. If the Prize Winner is, through any legal incapacity or otherwise, unable to
register Prize No.1 in their own name, then the Prize Winner may assign the
car to another person (who consents to such assignment) with legal capacity
for the purpose of registration.
d. The Star Sydney and the Prize Supplier take no responsibility for any such
arrangements between the Prize Winner and their assignee.
e. The Prize Winner must provide the Prize Supplier with certified copies of all
required documentation as required by the Prize Supplier before the car is
awarded.
Prize No.3 Hotel Experience – The Darling Sydney Voucher is subject to the following
terms and conditions:
a. The voucher must be redeemed, and the relevant booking must be made by
11.59pm AEDT on Wednesday, 2 April 2025. Bookings are essential. Blackout
days apply. Bookings cannot be made for Friday or Saturday nights, public
holidays, or school holidays. Bookings are subject to availability and

c. This Prize is not redeemable for cash, and any unused portion is non-
refundable. It includes one (1) night's accommodation in Darling Suite located
at The Star Sydney (with a maximum value of $1,300) plus a $200 dining credit
which can be used on food and non-alcoholic beverage services via the in-
room dining menu, subject to in-room dining operating hours or restaurant
outlets owned and operated by the Star Sydney where chargeback to the room
is available. All charges will be made to the room, and any dining expenses
exceeding the $200 dining credit must be settled by the guest during checkout.
d. Maximum two (2) adults are allowed for an overnight stay with existing
bedding. An additional $80 charge applies for a rollaway bed for a third adult.
Hotel room capacity is subject to The Darling Hotel’s terms and conditions.

e. A strict No Party Policy applies. 24-hour Cancellation Policy applies.
f. This prize is not valid with any other offer and is non-transferable.
g. A security bond of $500 per night is required at check-in and will be returned
to the guest at the time of checkout if in-room conditions are met, as per The
Star Grand Hotel’s terms and conditions.

hundred and eighty (180) days from the date of issue. Vouchers can be redeemed on
food and non-alcoholic beverages at all Star Sydney-owned dining outlets, subject to
outlet opening hours and availability. Excludes special events and public holidays.
Vouchers may be redeemed multiple times until the balance of the Voucher is cleared.
Vouchers are not redeemable for cash, and any unused portion is non-refundable after
the expiry of the Voucher. Vouchers cannot be used to pay for alcoholic beverages.
Vouchers can be used in conjunction with other member benefits and other discounts
of The Star Group. If any issue with the above vouchers arises outside normal business
hours (9.00am to 5.00pm Sydney time on weekdays that are not public holidays), The
Star will consider them at the next practical opportunity during those hours.
Prize Determination Depending on the Game result, if a properly chosen Game Idol reveals a Prize, that
Entry will be identified as a winning Entry ("Winning Entry"). If a Game Idol does not
reveal a Prize, that Entry will be identified as a non-winning Entry ("Non-Winning
Entry/ies").
There will be a maximum of 208,830 Entries. On average across this Promotion, there is
a one (1) in five (5) chance an Entry will win a Prize. For the avoidance of doubt, the
Promoter does not guarantee that an Eligible Entrant will win one (1) Prize if they
submit five (5) Entries.
The maximum numbers of Non-Winning Entries and Winning Entries are as follows:
a. Non-Winning Entry – 167,064 Entries; and
b. Winning Entry – 41,766 Entries.
An Eligible Entrant who submits a Winning Entry will be a prize winner (“Prize Winner”).
From time to time, the Promoter may undertake planned system upgrades or changes
to the Synkros Casino Management System (“SYNKROS”) or other systems (i.e.
Jackpods), during which time Winning Entries into the Promotion may not be recorded.
Except in cases of emergency outages, The Star Sydney will provide reasonable notice
of such system upgrades or changes through on-property signage.
The Promoter may, in its reasonable discretion taking into account these Terms and
Conditions, deem an Entry to be an Invalid Entry and disqualify such an Entry, including
the following: the Entry is from a person who is not an Eligible Entrant;
(a) an Entry from an Invalid Entrant;
(b) an Entry that is fraudulent or forged; and
(c) an Entry (or the entrant) otherwise does not comply with these Terms and
Conditions.
Invalid Entries are not eligible to win a Prize. If a person with an Invalid Entry is awarded
a Prize inadvertently, they must return it to the Promoter immediately upon request.

Notification of Prize
Winners
For Prizes No.1 to No.4, if an Eligible Entrant is a Prize Winner, the Jackpod will print a
prize receipt ("Prize Receipt").
To claim any of Prizes No.1 to No.4, a Prize Winner must provide their Prize Receipt to
the Promoter or a representative of the Promoter at The Star Club Desk located on the
Main Casino Floor by 11:59pm AEDT on Tuesday, 2 April 2023.
For Prizes No.1 to No.4, a Prize Winner must also produce their Card and Valid ID that is
acceptable to the Promoter or a representative of the Promoter in order to collect the
Prize.
Valid ID means:
a. a passport, Australian driver’s licence or other form of photographic
identification in which the photograph is clear and undamaged and that is
acceptable to the Promoter; or
b. two forms of non-photographic identification that are valid and acceptable to
the Promoter.
For Prizes No.1 to No.4, if a Prize Winner does not provide the Prize Receipt to the
Promoter or a representative of the Promoter at The Star Club Desk or cannot produce
their Card or Valid ID within the allotted time, the Prize Winner will be deemed to have
forfeited the Prize. Eligible Entrants will need to ensure that contact details are up-to-
date and accurate.
Prize No.3, the winner will be issued with a winner’s letter.
Prize No.4 must be redeemed before the expiry date on the gift card.
For Prizes No.5 to No.9, if an Eligible Entrant is a Prize Winner, the Jackpod screen will
display a message indicating that the Eligible Entrant is a Prize Winner. Prizes No.5 to
No.9 will be automatically loaded onto the Prize Winner’s membership account for The
Star Club no later than 24 hours from the time of winning and can be redeemed directly
at the relevant outlet.
In the event that the Promoter is unable to provide Prize Winner with a prize. Prize
Winner may be issued a Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverage Voucher of equivalent or
higher value instead. Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverage Vouchers are valid for one
hundred and eighty (180) days from the date of issue. Vouchers can be redeemed on
food and non-alcoholic beverages at selected outlets owned by The Star Sydney,
subject to outlet opening hours and availability. Excludes special events and public
holidays. Food and non-alcoholic beverage vouchers are not redeemable for cash, and
any unused portion is non-refundable after the expiry of the Food Voucher. Food and
non-alcoholic beverage vouchers cannot be used to pay for alcohol. Food and non-
alcoholic beverage vouchers can be used in conjunction with other vouchers and
member benefits and discounts.
The names of the Prize Winners and/or their membership numbers will be published on
a notice at The Star Club Desk within 2 business days of the conclusion of the
Promotion.
For each Non-Winning Entry, the Jackpod screen will display a message indicating that
the Eligible Entrant is not a Prize Winner.
