TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Information on how to enter and the prize(s) form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter is Mattel Pty Ltd (ABN 60 000 660 962) of 658 Church Street, Building 1 Level 3, Richmond VIC 3121, telephone (03) 9425 5222.
Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating stores and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Entries into the promotion open on 11/04/2024 and close at 11:59pm AEST on 09/05/2024 (“Promotional Period”).
A “Participating Store” is any Big W store in Australia that stocks Hot Wheels Monster Trucks products and are authorised to display material relating to this promotion during the Promotional Period.
To be eligible to enter, individuals must, during the Promotional Period, spend $20 or more on any Hot Wheels products, in a single transaction, at a Participating Store (“Qualifying Transaction”). Purchases made online at a Participating Store’s official online store will also be deemed acceptable for the purposes of this promotion. If a purchase receipt is not handed to the individual at the time of making their Qualifying Transaction, it is the individual’s responsibility to request this material.

Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per Qualifying Transaction regardless of the amount spent in that transaction in excess of $20; and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
Entrants must retain their original purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the product purchased, the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the Promotional Period but prior to entry.
Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
The draw will take place at Anisimoff Legal, 3 Amy Close, Wyong NSW 2259 on 13/05/2024 at 12:00pm AEST in the presence of an independent scrutineer. Spending money, additional meals, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, additional transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. If a winner resides within a 100 km radius of Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide, that winner will receive tickets to the show in their relevant capital city and the airfare and accommodation component of the prize will be forfeited and not redeemable for cash. Prize must be taken to coincide with the relevant Monster Trucks Live Show 2024 event and is subject to booking and flight availability. During the entire duration of the prize trip, a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age. The winner and their travel companion/s must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together. Itinerary to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. The “Meet & Greet” awarded as part of the Major Prize provides the winner (and his/her/their travel companions) with an opportunity to meet one or more drivers from the Monster Truck Live show, and an opportunity to have a photograph taken with the drivers. These elements of the prize are not guaranteed and are subject to the goodwill of the drivers on the day. The Promoter accepts no responsibility and will not offer any alternative in the event that these elements of the prize cannot be offered for any reason.
The Monster Trucks Live Show ticket prizes are subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restriction. The Promoter and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject the winner (and/or his/her travel companion/s) for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize.
In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, government lockdown, pandemic, or any other kind of disaster or unforeseeable event beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend, substitute or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
