From Academy Award winning director Kevin Macdonald comes an insight into the life and career of iconoclastic designer John Galliano. From the mid1980's until 2011, Galliano, the head designer at Dior, was considered one of the most important fashion designers in history. But in February 2011, a video emerged of Galliano spewing anti-Semitic slurs in a Parisian bar. He was fired by Dior, berated by the Jewish community, and ostracised from the fashion world.
Featuring candid interviews with Galliano and others including Anna Wintour, Sidney Toledano, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Boris Cyrulnik, Penelope Cruz, and Charlize Theron, the film is not only the story of a troubled and talented man, but also poses a question: do we ever truly know what's going on inside our own minds?
