EQUITANA Melbourne Super Ticket Presale Giveaway
1. This competition is administered by Equine Productions Pty Ltd (1280 Ferntree Gully
Rd, Scoresby VIC 3179, ABN 17 138 346 611) “The Promotor.”
2. The competition will be held in conjunction with EQUITANA Melbourne, which will be
held at the Melbourne Showgrounds, Ascot Vale, Victoria over the period 14th – 17th
November 2024.
3. This competition (the “Competition”) is a random draw whereby entering via the sign-
up form on the EQUITANA Melbourne website the entrant has the chance to win the
prize outlined in point 10.
4. All Entrants (“Entrants”) who participate in this Competition are deemed to accept
these terms and conditions of entry. Entries that do not comply with these terms and
conditions will be deemed invalid and Equine Productions take no responsibility for
such entries.
5. All times given in these terms and conditions are references to Australia Eastern
Standard Time and all references to currency are referring to Australian Dollars
6. The Competition Entry Period opens at 9am Monday 24th June 2024 and closes at
9am Wednesday 7th August 2024 (the “Competition Period”).
7. To be eligible for entry into this Competition, an Entrant must:
a. Enter via the Competition Entry Form on EQUITANA Melbourne Website.
b. Fill out the form outlined in point 3
c. Enter during the competition entry period outlined in point 6
d. Accept they are entering this competition under these rules
8. There is a limit of one (1) Competition Entry per person
9. By entering the Competition, Entrants consent to being contacted by EQUITANA
Melbourne.
10. The Prize is two Super Tickets to EQUITANA Melbourne 2024, a $2,000 Webjet
Travel Voucher, 3 nights’ accommodation in Equine Productions chosen hotel in a
twin room, and two EQUITANA Merchandise Packs, with a total prize value of
$4,000. There is one (1) prize to be won. The travel voucher will be emailed directly
to the winner by Equine Productions, and the merchandise pack will be available for
collection at the event, or from the Equine Productions office in Melbourne prior to
the event. Restrictions apply to voucher use. Prize value correct as at the
commencement of the competition.
11. Equine Productions will draw one (1) winner at random. The prize will be drawn by
employees of Equine Productions at their registered offices. On completion of the
Prize Draw the winner will be contacted by email. The final decision in respect of any
winning entries will be at the sole discretion of Equine Productions and no
correspondence or negotiation will be entered into.
12. The winner will be contacted via email on the 7th August 2024, and following email
being sent, will be announced via social media.
13. The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or payable in cash or other products or
services. In case of refusal or non-acceptance of the Prize or conditions that are
inherent to the competition, the prize will not be awarded. In this case, the Promotor
is entitled to choose another winner.
14. Equine Productions are not responsible for any costs, expenses or losses
(whatsoever) incurred by the Prize Winner as a result of claiming the Prize.
15. As a condition of accepting this prize, the winner consents to the promoters using the
eligible winners details, likeness, image, image and/or voice (including photograph,
film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without
renumeration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome),
and promoting any product manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the
Promoters.
16. The following persons are not eligible to enter the Competition or win the Prize:
• Board members, employees, dealers, agents (and agent’s employees) and
contractors of Equine Productions and the Immediate Family of such a
person; and
• “Immediate Family” of a person being the parents, siblings, children and
spouse or partner (whether legal or de facto) of that person;
17. Equine Productions take no responsibility for any inability to enter, complete,
continue or conclude the Competition due to equipment or technical malfunction,
Acts of God or otherwise.
18. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Equine Productions and any
person in connection with this Competition are not liable for any direct, indirect,
special or consequential loss or damage whatsoever suffered or personal injury
suffered or sustained in connection with:
• Participation in this Competition;
• The Prize or use of the Prize; and
• the administration of this Competition
19. Failure by Equine Productions to enforce any of its rights under these Terms &
Conditions at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
20. Equine productions reserve the right to disqualify anyone for tampering with the
Competition Entry process or attempting to act in a fraudulent or dishonest manner.
21. If this Competition is unable to be run as planned for any reason, Equine Productions
reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or amend this Competition.
22. You consent to the Promoter collecting your Personal Information in order to conduct
the Promotion. You also consent to the Promotor, for this purpose, disclosing such
information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service
providers. Entry is conditional on providing this Personal Information. The Promoter
may also, for an indefinite period, use the information for promotional, marketing,
publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or
telephoning the authorised representative. All entries become the property of the
Promoter. The Promoters will not disclose entrant’s Personal Information to any
entity outside of Australia. An Eligible Business may at any time,
