WIN TWO TICKETS TO MELBOURNE CUP AT SOKYO!
The race that stops the nation is just around the corner, but if you’re looking for show-stopping cuisine on Tuesday November 5, Sokyo at The Star Brisbane is where you’ll want to be.
The newly opened Japanese fine dining venue is putting on a feast for the senses this Melbourne Cup Day. Guests will watch in awe as executive Chef Alex Yu guides them on a theatrical culinary adventure, where Japanese rituals and art collide with his meticulous creations.
From 12:00–3:00 pm, you’ll be treated to a four-course shared menu created by Chef Alex himself. Known as the ‘sashimi florist’, Alex is renowned far and wide for his sashimi platters – lavishly adorned centrepieces that are assembled using a mix of precise technical skill and creative artistry – so you know you’ll be in for a real treat. The menu will be paired with a three-hour premium beverage package, including champagne from Veuve Clicquot. You’ll of course be able to catch all of the race-day action on screen, as well as fashions off the field, live entertainment and a special guest MC.
