Journeying back to his school days, Hoffmann relives his childhood romance with Olympia (Olga Pudova), a model student in every sense. Doomed love follows him into adulthood, where the dancer, Antonia (Ermonela Jaho), is taken from him too soon. Meanwhile, the sensual courtesan Giulietta (Marina Costa-Jackson) has her own secret agenda. As memory and fantasy becomes increasingly blurred, will Hoffmann find the enigmatic Stella before it is too late?
Olivier award-winning director Damiano Michieletto returns to The Royal Opera with this new production that was first presented in Sydney in July 2023 with Opera Australia and Venice with Teatro La Fenice. Antonello Manacorda conducts.

The prize draw will take place at Limelight Arts Media Pty Ltd, Unit 11, Level 1, 183 Macquarie Street, Sydney NSW 2000 on 20/01/2025.
The winners will be notified on 20/01/2025. The winner(s) will be notified in writing via email, or by telephone at the contact details provided upon entry. The winner(s) should allow no less than 9 days and up to 30 days after notification for registered postal receipt of their prizes. There is no requirement for the prizes to be collected; the prize(s) will be delivered to the winners at the Promoter’s expense. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries/prizes.
The prizes is/are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Any cash prizes will be sent as a cheque.
