Game of Chance - Terms and Conditions for Win a Holiday with Shoe Of The Week
Introduction
These terms and conditions apply to the Shoe Of The Week – Win a Holiday conducted by SOTW Pty Ltd (ABN 25 678 532 440) By entering the Promotion, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Eligibility
The Promotion is open to residents of Australia with a registered address in NSW, VIC, SA, QLD, TAS aged 18 and over.
Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
Promotion Period
The Promotion commences on 4 November 2024 and ends on 4 February 2025 (three months).
How to Enter
To enter, participants must signed up and subscribe to the newsletter during the Promotion Period.
Entry to the Promotion is limited to one entry per Entrant.
The Promoter may remove any and all unauthorised multiple entries.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an Entrant, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the Entrant. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promoter is responsible for determining whether a person is an eligible Entrant in its absolute discretion.
Any person who is discovered to have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to enter the Promotion (except in the case of a legal change of name) is ineligible to enter this Promotion.
Prize
The prize is a Bali Holiday for two, including accommodation and return flights, up to the value of AUS$4,000.
The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Unless expressly stated as being included in the Prize, all other costs and expenses associated with taking the Prize become the responsibility of Winners and their guests, including but not limited to:
any and all taxes (excluding departure and any other flight-associated taxes included in the Prize);
costs associated with vaccinations, passports and/or visa applications;
travel insurance;
additional spending money;
food and beverages;
transport to/from an airport departure or return point;
any sightseeing or activities; and
all other incidental and ancillary costs incurred by Winner and/or their guest as a direct or indirect result of taking the Prize.
Winner Selection
The winner will be selected by a random draw conducted on 5 February at Richmond, Melbourne, Victoria.
The winner will be notified by email and phone within 2 days of the draw.
Claiming the Prize
The winner must claim the prize by 1 March 2025. If the prize is not claimed by this date, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner.
All aspects of a Prize must be taken together as a package. If for any reason a Winner does not (or is unable to) take their Prize or an element of their Prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, the Winner will forfeit their Prize or that element of their Prize and no compensation or substitute will be offered.
The Winner and their guests must ensure that they have valid documentation for travel, including but not limited to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at the destination.
Publicity
By entering the Promotion, participants consent to the use of their name and image in any promotional material by the Promoter.
Privacy
The Promoter will collect and use personal information in accordance with its privacy policy on Shoe of The week website, shoeoftheweek.com.au
General Conditions
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion and these terms and conditions without notice.
The Promoter's decision in respect of all matters to do with the Promotion will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Liability
The Promoter is not responsible for any loss or damage suffered by any person in connection with the Promotion, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria and participants submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
