By entering the Sunrise x MJ The Musical Ticket Giveaway (“Registration”), you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
STANDARD TERMS
Information on how to register forms part of the terms of registration.
WHO CAN ENTER?
Registration is open to all residents of Australia, over the age of 18 years, where the Channel Seven and affiliate broadcasting signals are received.
Employees and their immediate family members of Seven Network (Operations) Limited (“Promoter”), MJ the Musical Pty Ltd and MJP Australia Pty Ltd (“Sponsor”) and their associated agencies and companies and any prize suppliers are not eligible to register.
In clause 2.2, a reference to “Immediate Family Member” includes a spouse, defacto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child or sibling living in the same residence.
Viewers may enter only once per person
Registration period opens on Monday 28th April 2025 at 5.30am (AEST) and closes on Friday 2nd May 2025 at 12:00pm (AEST) (“the Registration Period”).
In order to register for Sunrise’s Exclusive Performance of MJ The Musical and be a part of the audience at Sydney Lyric Theatre, Sydney on Friday 9th May 2025, viewers must:
• Visit the Sunrise website and register their full name, address (including state and postcode), email address, and mobile phone number on the Competition page and
Submit an answer to the question, “Tell us in 25 words or less, why you want to go to the Exclusive Sunrise performance of MJ The Musical?”
• Tick the checkbox confirming they are available to attend the performance on Friday 9th May 2025 at 12pm at the Sydney Lyric Theatre.
3.3 Arrival time for the performance will be from 11:30am. Seating will commence at 12pm. The approximate timings are below:

3.4 Entry details including all submissions made remain the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the entrant. The Winner agrees to grant the Promoter and the Sponsor a perpetual, irrevocable and non-exclusive license to use their entries in all media worldwide and the Winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
3.5 All successful entrants, after confirmation of their attendance at the Sunrise Exclusive Performance, will be offered a ticket for a full performance on Tuesday 20th, Wednesday 21st or Thursday 22nd May 2025. This ticket will be offered in the form of a physical ticket.
3.6 Any entry that contains content that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, considers to be offensive or inappropriate in any way or that the Promoter considers, in its sole discretion, to infringe any intellectual property rights or other rights of any person, corporation or entity, will be considered ineligible. The decision to accept or reject an entry is at the Promoter’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
3.7 The Promoter and Sponsor are not responsible for any data or other information related to this that may be lost, damaged as a result of any computer software or hardware malfunction. Any issues occurring as a result of computer / server/ software problems will be rectified as quickly as possible.
3.5 Attendees must be over 18 to attend the Sunrise Exclusive Performance.
3.6 Viewers may only enter once per person.
3.7 Successful entrants will be contacted within two (2) business days of the competition closing date
4.1 There are a total number of Five-hundred (500) tickets to be given away. These will be awarded to the first 500 people who complete the registration process, as per clause 3.2
4.2 This Registration is for an exclusive short performance only. The approximate timings can be found in clause 3.3.
4.3 Entrants will receive One (1) x ticket only.
4.4 All successful entrants, when their attendance has been confirmed at the Exclusive show, will be offered a ticket for a full show on either Tuesday 20th, Wednesday 21st or Thursday 22nd May 2025. This will be issues in the form of a physical ticket.
4.5 No tickets will be provided for alternative dates. If a winner is unable to attend, they forfeit the ticket entirely.
4.6 Tickets cannot be exchanged transferred or redeemed for cash.
4.7 Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services by the bearer. If a ticket is sold or  used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.
4.8 Attendee must make their own way to and from event. No transport will be provided.
4.9 The right of admission to the Sunrise Exclusive MJ The Musical Performance is reserved and is subject to the venues terms of admission. Late arrival may result in non-admittance until a suitable break in the performance.
4.10 Cameras, audio and video recorders may not be permitted. The right is reserved to broadcast or telecast any event.
4.11 It may be a condition of entry to individual events that a search of person and / or their possessions will be required at the time of the entry to the venue.
4.12 Scalping warning: The resale of tickets in certain circumstances is governed by ticket sales legislation and may attract criminal penalties.
4.13 In participating in Sunrise’s MJ The Musical performance, the audience agrees to participate and co- operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the coverage, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The audience grant the Promoter and Sponsor a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the audience will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.14 All attendees consent to being filmed and accept that part of this filming may be shown on Sunrise or other media materials
4.15 Prize value is $150 per ticket
NO LIABILITY
In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the performance on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel, modify or suspend the performance. If, due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter is unable to provide the stated tickets, the Promoter reserves the right to award a substitute prize.
The Seven Network (Operations) Limited (Promoter), MJ the Musical Pty Ltd and MJP Australia (Sponsor) and their associated agencies and companies will not take any responsibility for tickets damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
The Seven Network (Operations) Limited (Promoter), MJ the Musical Pty Ltd and MJP Australia (Sponsor) and affiliates and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
whilst undertaking any travel connected with their registration and/or attendance; in the participation of the performance;
as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Registration or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
in relation to failure of a registration being received by Sunrise on account of technical problems or traffic congestion;
 5.4 Sunrise reserves the right to reasonably amend or vary these terms and conditions at its sole discretion, orally or in writing, for the purpose of Seven’s programming, scheduling or production requirements.
5.5 If for any reason the Registration is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Registration, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Registration, subject to state government legislation.
5.6 If for any reason this performance is not capable of running as planned, Sunrise will advise confirmed attendees as soon as possible by email.
6. PROMOTER’S DETAILS

6.2 The Sponsor is MJ The Musical Pty Ltd and MJP Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 15 676 462 909) of Suite 4.07, 46A Macleay Street, Potts Point, NSW 2011
6.3 Entrants who opt-in agree that the Sponsor will receive their personal information. The Sponsor will handle the personal information of the entrants (e.g. first name, last name, address, phone number, email address) in accordance with their privacy policy, which can be accessed at https://michaelcassel.com/privacy-policy/. By ticking the opt in checkbox, you agree to the Sponsor contacting you from time to time with marketing communications. You can opt out at any time by emailing a request to privacy@michaelcasssel.com.
6.4 Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. Seven Network (Operations) Limited (ABN 65 052 845 262) and its related entities (“Seven”), is collecting your personal information for the purpose of conducting and promoting this Registration, including for the purpose of identifying and notifying the Winner, prize fulfilment and understanding our audiences. Seven will otherwise handle your personal information in accordance with Seven’s Privacy Policy which is available on our website at http://www.sevenwestmedia.com.au/privacy-policies (and which contains information regarding how you can access your personal information, correct it and/ or make a complaint about our handling of your personal information). By providing your personal information below, you agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy. Without limiting the foregoing, Seven may disclose the entrant’s personal information to its related entities, business partners and external service providers for research and profiling purposes as well as other purposes reasonably related to the entrant’s relationship with Seven.
