TERMS & CONDITIONS:1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. The promoter is St Vincent De Paul Society Queensland (ABN 14 211 506 904) of 10 Merivale Street, South Brisbane QLD 4101 (Vinnies QLD or the Promoter).
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD
3. Entries into the promotion open on 23 May 2025 and close at 11:59pm AEST on 31 May 2025 (‘Promotional Period”). Entries received after the Promotional Period are ineligible to participate.
ELIGIBILITY
4. The Promotion is open to individuals who are residents of Queensland and aged 18 years or over (Eligible Entrant). Employees (and their immediate families), members and volunteers of the Promoter, and the agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: Spouse, ex-spouse, de- facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step- brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
PROMOTION
5. During the Promotional Period, the “Major Prize Promotion” and the “Spin and Win (Instant Prizes) Promotion” will be available (together, the Promotion or Finderfest. Section A below contains conditions specific to the Major Prize Promotion. Section B below contains conditions specific to the “Spin and Win (Instant Prizes) Promotion”. Section C below contains additional conditions applicable to the Promotion as a whole.

HOW TO ENTER
6. To enter the Major Prize Promotion, an Eligible Entrant must take the following steps during the Promotional Period (together, an Eligible Entry):
a. Visit a Vinnies QLD retail store;
b. Locate a Major Prize Prop hidden in the store;
c. Scan the QR code displayed on the prop; and
d. Complete the entry form as prompted to go into the draw to win the
corresponding Major Prize.
7. Once the above steps have been completed, the entrant will receive an automated email acknowledging their entry and informing that they have received one (1) entry into the draw for the Major Prize associated with the Major Prize Prop found instore (Major Prize Category).
8. Multiple entries are permitted, subject to the following:
a. only five (5) entries are permitted per person per Major Prize Category for the
entirety of the Promotional Period. Any further entries will not be included in the draw. Each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements above.
b. An Eligible Entrant can only win one (1) Major Prize.
9. There will be one (1) prize draw for each Major Prize Category conducted on Tuesday 6 June 2025 (Major Prize Draw). The Major Prize Draw will occur in the following order: (1) Golden Groceries; (2) Golden Getaway; (3) Golden Fuel; (4) Golden Ticket; (5) Golden Cash.
10. There will be one (1) winner of each Major Prize (each, a Major Prize Winner). Subject to condition 8.b, each Major Prize Winner will be the first valid Eligible Entry drawn from the pool of Eligible Entries for each Major Prize Category.
11. The Major Prize Draw will take place at St Vincent De Paul Society, 10 Merivale Street, South Brisbane QLD 4101. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.
12. Each Major Prize Winner will be notified by email and phone using the contact details submitted with their entry within seven (7) days of the Major Prize Draw.
B - SPIN & WIN (INSTANT PRIZES) PROMOTION PRIZES
13. Instant win prizes available to be won at random during the Promotional Period are (each, an Instant Prize):

HOW TO ENTER
14. To enter the Spin & Win Promotion, an Eligible Entrant must:
a. Make a purchase of any amount in any Vinnies QLD store during the
Promotional Period.
b. Use a smartphone to scan a QR code displayed on their receipt, instore posters
or promotional material at the Vinnies Qld store;
c. When prompted, validate their purchase by entering the first four digits of the
receipt number from their Qualifying Transaction.
d. When prompted, use the “Spin and Win” function on the finderfest.com.au
website
e. Enter your first name, last name and email address to claim your prize
15. Upon successfully validating their purchase, entrants will receive an on-screen notification informing whether or not they have won an Instant Prize (Instant Prize Winner).
16. An Instant Prize Winner will also receive an email informing them that they are a provisional Instant Prize Win and providing details on how to verify their entry and claim their Instant Prize. Entrants are required to keep their receipt from their qualifying transaction.
17. Multipleentriespermitted,subjecttothefollowing:(a)onlyone(1)entrypermittedper Qualifying Transaction per [day of the Promotional Period] regardless of the amount spent; (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with the entry requirements].
18. Instant Prize conditions:
a. Vinnies gift cards will be redeemable only in Vinnies Queensland stores.
b. Vinnies gift cards of the amount $5 and $10 will be delivered to the respective
Instant Prize Winner via email within (7) days of claiming their Instant Prize and will be redeemable instore. The total amount must be used in one transaction and any remaining balance cannot be kept. The gift cards must be redeemed between the 23 May 2025 – 25 July 2025.
c. Vinnies gift cards of the amount $50 and $100 will be delivered to the respective Instant Prize Winner via mail.
d. Fuel e-gift cards will be delivered to the respective Instant Prize Winner via email within (7) business days of claiming their Instant Prize.
e. IGA e-gift cards will be delivered to the respective Instant Prize Winner via mail.
C - OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO THE PROMOTION
Eligibility and participation
19. Any and all decisions of the Promoter in relation to any aspect of the Promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
20. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
21. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
22. Entrants are responsible for ensuring any and all details submitted for the Promotion are correct and accurate. If an entrant’s contact details change during the Promotional Period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter by emailing their updated contact details to
shops@svdpqld.org.au.
23. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
Prizes
24. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming a merchandise code or gift card are not included. Any unused balance of the merchandise code or gift card will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of any merchandise code or gift card is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the merchandise code or gift card.
25. Prize winners are responsible for ensuring that all prize delivery details provided are correct. The Promoter will not be liable for any costs associated with re-delivery of a prize, should the delivery details provided by a winner be incorrect.
26. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
27. Total prize pool value is [$70,000]
28. If for any reason a winner does not claim a prize (or an element of the prize) by three months of receiving notification they have won, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.
29. A draw for any forfeited prizes (including Major Prizes that remain unclaimed or any Instant Prizes that is won but unclaimed) may take place on the 25 July 2025 at the
same place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners, if any, will be notified by email within seven (7) days of the draw.
Liability
30. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (Non- Excludable Guarantees).
31. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law), including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with Finderfest, including: (a) any late, lost or misdirected entries, or for any lost, missing or damage to or delay in delivery of prizes; (c) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference with a prize; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use / taking of the prize.
32. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications associated with this Promotion and all participants, including any prize winners. Independent financial advice should be sought in regard to the tax implications relating to a prize or acceptance of a prize.
Promotion, marketing and privacy considerations
33. In entering this Promotion, all participants consent to:
a. if they become a Major Prize Winner, the publication of their names (First initial,
surname and postcode) online at
www.vinnies.org.au on 3 June 2025; and
b. if they become a Major Prize Winner or Instant Prize Winner and if requested,
participate free of charge in any promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) relating to the Promotion or the winning of their respective prize. All participants consent to the Promoter using their name and likeness in this manner.
34. The Promoter collects personal information from all participants to conduct and administer the Promotion and may disclose such information to third parties (including agents, contractors, service providers and prize suppliers) for that purpose. The Promoter may also use a participant’s personal information for marketing and promotional purposes. The Promoter will also use and handle personal information as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at
