TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and older, where the Channel Seven signal is received.
2.2 Employees and their immediate family members of Seven Network (Operations) Limited (“Promoter”), GCFC Limited (“Gold Coast SUNS”), Ignite Travel Group Pty Ltd (“My Cruises”), and their associated agencies and companies and any prize suppliers are not eligible to enter.
2.3 In clause 2.2, a reference to “Immediate Family Member” includes a spouse, defacto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child or sibling living in the same residence.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition commences on Friday 23rd May 2025 at 05:30am (AEST) and concludes on
Thursday 29th May 2025 at 12:00pm (AEST) (the “Competition Period”).
3.2 In order to enter, viewers must:
• Visit the Sunrise website and register their full name, address (including state and postcode), email address, and mobile phone number on the Competition page [Sunrise.com.au]; and
• Submit an answer to the competition question, “A dream cruise awaits thanks to My Cruises, Royal Caribbean and the Gold Coast SUNS! In 25 words or less, why should it be yours?”
3.3 Entries must be received by Thursday 29th May 2025 at 12:00pm (AEST).
3.4 Viewers can enter as many times as they like, throughout the competition period.
3.5 The entry must be:
(a) the original independent creation of the entrant;
(b) written in English; and
(c) free from any claims, including but not restricted to copyright or trademark claims, by other parties.
3.6 Entry details including all submissions made remain the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the entrant. The Winner agrees to grant the Promoter a perpetual, irrevocable and non-exclusive license to use their entries in all media worldwide and the Winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
3.7 Any entry that contains content that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, considers to be offensive or inappropriate in any way or that the Promoter considers, in its sole discretion, to infringe any intellectual property rights or other rights of any person, corporation or entity, will be considered ineligible. The decision to accept or reject an entry is at the Promoter’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
3.8 The Promoter and Gold Coast SUNS are not responsible for any data or other information related to this Competition that may be lost, damaged as a result of any computer software or hardware malfunction. Any issues occurring as a result of computer / server/ software problems will be rectified as quickly as possible.
3.9 Entrants must provide accurate and complete information when submitting entries, or the entry will be deemed invalid. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, validity of driver’s license and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be Five (5) Prize Winner(s) in total throughout the Competition, one per day (“Winner(s)”). The Winner(s) will be awarded ONE (1) of the following prizes (“Prize”):

4.2 The total prize pool is valued at up to $47,635.00 (including GST). The Promoter or Gold Coast SUNS accepts no responsibility for the change in the Prize specification or value between now and the ultimate redemption date.
4.3 There are a maximum of Five (5) prizes in total throughout the competition. These Prizes will be split per day and awarded to a One (1) Winner per day.
4.4 Winners may depart Sydney or Brisbane. Departure port availability is dependent on the selected cruise.
4.5 Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Prize is not included. These are the responsibilities of the Winner.
4.6 Winner is responsible for any travel, accommodation or other associated costs prior or following the Prize. Winner must be able to make their own way to and from departure port.
4.7 Winners understand that they must adhere to the embarkation and disembarkation times.
4.8 Winners can choose from sailing dates across 2025/2026 (excluding Christmas, New Year and Easter) Winner must confirm chosen sailing via My Cruises by 31st August 2025.
4.9 Advanced reservation is required and must be booked via the email and/or phone provided on the voucher received by the Winner.
4.10 Prize can only be redeemed once.
4.11 Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions, discount or other certificates.
4.12 Unused portions of the prize are non-refundable.
4.13 My Cruises shall not be responsible for loss, alterations, theft or expiration of the certificate.
4.14 The Prize is non-transferrable. No cash alternative is available for the Prize. The Prize must be taken as offered. Any unused portion of the Prize, or portion of the Prize, the Winner is not entitled to, and is not exchangeable or cannot be redeemed as cash. The Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer.
4.15 The Prize value is in Australian dollars. The Promoter and Gold Coast SUNS accept no responsibility for any variation in the Prize values. The Winner is advised that tax implications may arise from winning the Prize, and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of the Prize and the Promotor and Gold Coast SUNS accept no liability for any tax implications that may arise from claiming the Prize.
4.16 In acceptance of the Prize, the Winner acknowledges that they may incur ongoing costs associated with the Prize which are the entire responsibility of the Winner.
4.17 Neither the Promoter nor the Gold Coast SUNS are responsible nor liable if the Prize is damaged, delayed or lost in transit during delivery.
4.18 If the cruise is cancelled due to operational or redeployment reasons by the cruise line your prize is forfeited and it is at the discretion of My Cruises if any alternate prize will be offered.
4.19 Where a trip paid using vouchers is cancelled, if any refund is due, will be refunded onto a new voucher.
4.20 Vouchers may not, without the prior written consent of My Cruises, be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via online auction or other unauthorised resale sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a Voucher is sold or used in breach of this condition, My Cruises may in its absolute and sole discretion cancel or render invalid the Voucher without a refund and the Voucher holder may be refused redemption of the Voucher.
4.21 My Cruises will take all reasonable steps to notify the winner of My Cruises’ intention to cancel or render invalid Voucher within a reasonable time before cancelling or rendering invalid the Voucher. My Cruises may cancel or render invalid any Voucher (including any available balance) which My Cruises determines in its absolute and sole discretion was purchased at any time and in any way in (including via online auction or other unauthorised resale sites) by fraudulent means.
4.22 The Promoter’s decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the Competition result.
4.23 It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize and the My Cruise’s requirements.
4.24 Personal information about the Prize Winner will be shared with the Gold Coast SUNS, My Cruises and their agents, to the extent necessary for the Prize to be fulfilled to the Winner.
4.25 The Prize will be awarded to the person named in their contestant entry. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Competition Period it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
4.26 It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
4.27 The Winner agrees that they will not sell or otherwise make available their story and/or photographs to any media or other organization other than the Promoter.
4.28 Subject to state permit authority restrictions, the Promoter may reasonably amend these terms and conditions, orally or in writing, in its absolute discretion.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 There will be Five (5) Prize Winners (“Winners”) in total, throughout the Competition.
5.2 Each entrant who has entered the Competition over the Competition Period and registered all details in accordance with clause 3 (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into the Competition.
5.3 The Winners will be the best valid entries as judged by a panel of representatives appointed by the Promoter having regard to authenticity, and originality at Seven Network Media City, 8 Central Avenue, Eveleigh NSW 2015. Winners will be judged from 15:00 AEST on each date below:

The Competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the Winner.
5.4 The Winner’s name will be published on the Sunrise website within two (2) business days of judging. The Winner will be contacted by telephone or email within two (2) business days of the publication. The Promoter reserves the right to re-judge in the event of a Winner not claiming the Prize by 10:00am AEST on Friday 22nd August 2025. If required, a re-judging will take place at 10:30am AEST on Friday 22nd August 2025 at Seven Network Media City, 8 Central Avenue, Eveleigh NSW 2015. The alternative Winner, if any, will be notified in writing and by phone within two (2) business days of the re-judging and their name published on the Sunrise website within two (2) business days of re-judging.
5.5 The Winner may be announced live and called on the Sunrise program scheduled to be broadcast on the Seven Network between 05:30 AM AEST to 09:00 AM AEST between Monday 26th May 2025 to Friday 30th May 2025, as per the table below:

6.1 Incomprehensible and illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
6.2 It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize requirements. Prize is subject to My Cruise’s Terms and Conditions.
7. NO LIABILITY
7.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, pandemic, epidemic, government restraint, or act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel, modify or suspend the competition. If, due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter is unable to provide the stated prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award a substitute prize
