Entrants may enter more than once, however, only prize can be won per person. Each entrant is only eligible for one prize in the Promotion.
8. Entry Restrictions
Entrants must be:
(a) 21 years of age or over at the time of entry.
(b) Australian residents and have a registered address in NSW, QLD, SA or VIC.
(c) contactable by the Promoter.
(d) Available and permitted to travel to Los Angeles, from either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. The
Promoter will determine what city based on what is closest to the winners’ residential addresses. No
proxy is allowed, and the winner will forfeit the prize if unavailable.
(e) Be available to travel before 18 August 2026.
10. How to enter
During the Entry Period:
On Air Calls
(a) Entrants may call the KIIS/MIX Stations during the applicable Entry Period at various times as broadcast on the Station and as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
(b) Entrants who successfully call the relevant KIIS/MIX Station when solicited to do so by live broadcast on the Station or otherwise as determined by the Promoter, may be selected by the Promoter to be included in the Promotion (in accordance with the Judging Details in paragraph 12 below and the entry question in paragraph 10(c)).
(c) Entrants who successfully call the relevant KIIS/MIX station when solicited to do so by live broadcast will be required to answer a question by the promoter. The message will be sent to the entrants provided mobile number, and they must answer in 25 words or less; ‘Why do you want to experience LA?’ Based on responses to the question and having regard to the Judging Details in paragraph 12 below, Promoter will shortlist entrants for the opportunity to win a prize.
KIIS/MIX Club
(a) Entrants also have the option to enter the competition by being a KIIS/Mix Club member. They need to fill out the entry fields on the station win page and answer in 25 words or less ‘why do you want to experience LA?’ for their chance to gain one (1) additional entry into the Competition.
(a) If invited by the Promoter, additional entries may be open to entrants who register via the Stations’ websites, via a nominated app, via the Promoter’s representatives and street team, via Stations’ SMS text, via social media or other methods as determined by the Promoter in is discretion.
11. How to Win/ Draw/Challenge
(a) This is a game of skill and the winner is not determined by chance.
(b) Entrants who call, or enter via other means made available by the Promoter, will be judged in
accordance with the Judging Details below.
(c) At various times during the Entry Period, the Station may call entrants to find out more about their
entry. If the entrant receives a call or are put to air, this does not mean they are deemed a winner.
(d) The Promoter will select from the shortlisted entrants the best entry, as determined by the Promoter
in its sole discretion, having regard to the Judging Details, and that entrant will be deemed the winner of the prize. If the Promoter chooses to call the best entrant and the entrant does not answer their phone, the Promoter may in its discretion call them again or select and call the next best entrant (and so on) to determine the winner of the prize.
(e) One winner will be announced on air, each weekday of the promotion, between 17:00 and 18:00.
12. Judging Details
Entries via on air solicit and KIIS/MIX Club will judged by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, having regard to creativity, originality, suitability for radio, entertainment value, personality, capacity to perform the relevant challenges and responses/any information provided by entrant to the Promoter (including the entrant’s response to any questions asked by the Promoter).
13. Prize Details
For entries via on air solicit:
There are up to twenty (20) prizes to be won for up to twenty (20) winners.
If a prize winner is from New South Wales, they will receive:
• Return economy flights for two people to Los Angeles (LAX), from Sydney.
• 4 nights’ accommodation, twin share at a minimum 3-star hotel. If a prize winner is from Victoria, they will receive:
• Return economy flights for two people to Los Angeles (LAX), from Melbourne.
• 4 nights’ accommodation, twin share at a minimum 3-star hotel.
If a prize winner is from Queensland, winners will receive:
• Return economy flights for two people to Los Angeles (LAX), from Brisbane
• 4 nights’ accommodation, twin share at a minimum 3-star hotel. If a prize winner is from South Australia, winners will receive:
• Return economy flights for two people to Los Angeles (LAX), from Melbourne
• 4 nights’ accommodation, twin share at a minimum 3-star hotel.
• Return domestic flights for two people to Melbourne.
Prizing will be provided in the form of vouchers, for both accommodation and flights. Winners will have up to 12 months to redeem their prize. Winners must travel before the expiry date on the vouchers provided.
The Prize is non-transferable. Any prize that is found to be for sale or on-sold will be cancelled and will not be reissued. No refund or exchange will be given for any prize.
For entries via KIIS/MIX Club:
There is one (1) prize to be won for one (1) winner.

• 4 nights’ accommodation, twin share at a minimum 3-star hotel.
• If the winner resides in South Australia, they will also receive return domestic flights for two people to Melbourne.
Prizing will be provided in the form of vouchers, for both accommodation and flights. Winners will have up to 12 months to redeem their prize. Winners must travel before the expiry date on the vouchers provided.
The Prize is non-transferable. Any prize that is found to be for sale or on-sold will be cancelled and will not be reissued. No refund or exchange will be given for any prize.
14. Total Prize Value The total prize value is $167,580
15. Winner notification
Winners will be notified:
(a) on air at the time of winning; or
(b) via email, telephone or SMS text.
The names of winners for prizes in excess of $250 in SA or $1,000 in ACT or VIC, will be published on the Website.
16. Prize Claim details
The prize must be claimed by 10th October 2025.
If a prize is not claimed by this date/time, and the prize is time-sensitive (such as tickets to an event), the Promoter reserves the right to forfeit the prize or award the prize to an alternate winner. The Promoter will use reasonable efforts to contact the winner to claim the prize.
17. AdditionalTerms
United Airlines:
Travel must be completed before 18 August 2026.
Travel must be completed outside of any blackout periods which apply during school holidays and public holidays in the Australian State or Territory of departure.
Promotional seats allocated to the winner of this prize (Winner) for Travel are limited, and there may be times your reservation cannot be made on your preferred dates. United Airlines will use reasonable endeavours to ensure you are able to Travel on your preferred dates but is unable to guarantee this.
Flights must be booked in K class.
Travel is on United Airlines and United Express operated flights only. Travel is not valid on codeshare flights (an arrangement whereby one flight is published under two or more airline schedules).
The Winner and any passengers are responsible for obtaining any and all visa requirements and travel insurance for the Travel when necessary and if applicable.
Any additional flights or amendment to Travel outside of the Travel will be at Winner’s own expense. Flights for Travel may be subject to change.
Travel can be redeemed by the Winner only and may not be transferred to any other person, including family members. In circumstances where ‘pair tickets’ (two tickets) have been won, they must be redeemed at the same time with the same itinerary.
Tickets for Travel cannot be converted to cash. The Winner (and any passengers) are not permitted to change the scope of Travel, including but not limited to any changes to destinations, class of service or the length of Ticket Validity Period.
Tickets for Travel are valid for roundtrip flights between the origin and destination only, using the most direct routing. Stopovers, upgrades, and name changes are not permitted.
Lost or stolen tickets and/or certificates will not be replaced.
Where the Winner only redeems a one-way flight as opposed to a round-trip journey, the other half (unused) portion of Travel will no longer be redeemable.
Where the Winner consents to flying in a lower class of service, the price difference between classes of services will not be compensated.
The Winner cannot use the Travel for any are not applicable for MileagePlus mileage accrual.
Where the Winner fails to claim the Travel within the Ticket Validity Period, the Winner will not be entitled to a refund or credit note for the Travel.
By providing any information to United Airlines online or offline, you consent to the collection and use of such information by United Airlines, its affiliates, partners, contractors and permitted agents as herein described and consistent with applicable laws.
