18. Prizes are as set out in the Particulars.
19. Unless otherwise expressly stated, prize values are based on the recommended retail prices at the time of first publication of these terms and conditions (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.
20. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
21. Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
22. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements. It is the responsibility of the winner to confirm such conditions with the prize supplier or other relevant third parties.
23. All entrants agree that if they win the prize, they will not, and their companions will not, sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs in relation to the taking of the prize, to any media or other organisation, without the Promoter’s prior written consent. Photographs will be allowed to be taken only at the discretion of the Promoter and the prize provider.
24. If the Particulars specify a time/date by which a Prize must be taken, then if a winner does not take the prize by that stipulated time/date, then the entire prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
25. Prize terms and conditions form part of the full terms and conditions that can be found at
www.MyCruises.com.au. Advanced reservation is required and must be booked by Ignite Travel
Group. Flights will be booked at the discretion of Ignite Travel Group. Ignite Travel Group shall not
be responsible for loss, alterations, theft or expiration of the certificate. The prize can only be
redeemed once. The gift voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions,
discount or other certificates. Prize should be treated like cash, lost or stolen prizes will not be
replaced or refunded. Prize is personal to the individual receiving them and can only be redeemed
by that individual. Prize must be booked by 10th October 2025. Failure to book within this time will
result in forfeiture of the prize. Available to travel on 27th December, 2026 only. Flight allowance up
to $1,250 per person only. Any other incidental charges unless otherwise stated here are to be borne
by the prize holder. Cabin is confirmed subject to availability at the time of booking. If the cruise is
cancelled due to operational or redeployment reasons by the cruise line your prize is forfeited and it
is at the discretion of Ignite Travel if any alternate prize will be offered. Vouchers cannot be
cancelled once they are issued except if voided by My Cruises, if their value is used or if they expire.
Vouchers may not, without the prior written consent of My Cruises, be resold or offered for resale at
a premium (including via online auction or other unauthorised resale sites) or used for advertising,
promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to
enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a Voucher is sold or used in breach of this
condition, My Cruises may in its absolute and sole discretion cancel or render invalid the Voucher
without a refund and the Voucher holder may be refused redemption of the Voucher. My Cruises
will take all reasonable steps to notify you of My Cruises’ intention to cancel or render invalid a
Voucher within a reasonable time before cancelling or rendering invalid the Voucher. My Cruises
may cancel or render invalid any Voucher (including any available balance) which My Cruises
determines in its absolute and sole discretion was purchased at any time and in any way in
(including via online auction or other unauthorised resale sites) by fraudulent means. My Cruises
may cancel any bookings made using any fraudulent Voucher which may include any
non-refundable amounts. My Cruises will not be responsible for any costs incurred by you if you
purchase or attempt to redeem any fraudulent Voucher. You acknowledge and agree that you will
not be entitled to redeem any available balance on any fraudulent Voucher and that My Cruises will
not be obliged to hold such balance on file for you or otherwise redeem or exchange that Voucher.
Vouchers may not be used for payment of credit or retailer accounts. Personal information
collected in relation to your Voucher will be handled in accordance with My Cruises’ Privacy Policy
which is available at
www.MyCruises.com.au. Laws of Queensland, Australia apply to these terms
and conditions and any disputes arising in relation to them.
26. The Promoter is not responsible for any acts outside of its control including without limitation, acts
of god, such as adverse weather conditions or industrial action or civil commotion that may take
place or the impact or effect of any pandemic or epidemic.
27. The winner/s (and their companion/s) is/are responsible for all other expenses including spending
money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities
(unless specified), incidentals, taxes (excluding departure and any other flight associated taxes
included within the prize), energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, visas, travel
insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against
the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Each winner is responsible
for ensuring that they and their travelling companion(s) are fit to travel and have received
appropriate immunisations and/or health checks prior to taking the prize.
28. The winner/s and travelling companions must travel at the same time, must depart from the same
city and are responsible for transport from their residence to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide
or Perth for flight departure.
29. The prize must be booked by 10 October 2025 and is subject to hotel and flight availability. The trip
itinerary and details are subject to change based on port availability. The prize is not available
during peak times such as public holidays and school holidays (if applicable) and cannot be
changed once the booking has been made. Air tickets are available on the regular scheduled
services of each airline and are subject to seasonal embargos. Flight itinerary may have to be
adjusted depending on the airline’s departure city and their current flight schedule. Frequent Flyer
points are not available from any airline.
30. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from a winner at check-in to the hotel, for all
incidental charges. Once accommodation vouchers are issued, they are non-changeable.
31. A winner and their travel companion are responsible for complying with health and any other
government requirements that may apply to the prize. All prize travel will be subject to the carrier’s
General Conditions of Carriage. It is the traveller’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have
valid travel documentation, including valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of
government authorities at the relevant destinations. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures
incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be
the sole responsibility of the traveller/s. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety,
conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. Entrants should obtain travel advice
from independent sources, such as the web site of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs
and Trade.
32. Each winner acknowledges and accepts that activities that form part of the prize are inherently
dangerous and may result in death, injury, incapacity, damage to property or other losses. The
winners are required to be physically fit. This expedition/prize is not suitable for anyone who suffers
from a respiratory disorder, circulatory ailment, or physical disability that limits mobility.
By entering this Promotion, entrants accept and acknowledge full responsibility for their decision
to participate in this cruise package should they be chosen as winners. The winners release the
Promoter and other organisers, their related bodies corporate, affiliates, officers, agents and
employees, from all liabilities, loss and damage of any kind arising at any time out of or in
connection with the acceptance of, and participation in, the prize. Without limiting the foregoing,
the released parties will not be liable for any injury, sickness or death, property loss or damage or
other direct or indirect loss or damage of any kind, howsoever sustained or incurred, in connection
with or arising out of the cruise package or any other aspect of the prize. The winner acknowledges
that they have been warned that there is a possibility of an accident causing injury, death or
property damage in accepting the prize and that he or she may be excluded from participation in
