Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Queensland aged 15 years of age or older, where the Channel Seven (and affiliates) is received.
2.2Entrants under the age of 16 years must have prior parental consent to enter in the Competition.
2.3Employees and their immediate friends and families of the Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Ansible Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
2.4Each Prize Winner (“Winner”) must be available to attend the Ekka (Royal Queensland Show) during show Dates, 9-17 August 2025 at the Brisbane Showgrounds. If Winner is unable to attend, they will be deemed invalid, forfeit the prize in its entirety and a re-draw will take place.
The Competition commences Sunday, 3 August 2025 at 18:00 AEST and concludes on Friday 8 August 2025, at 10:00 AEST (“the Competition Period”). Daily eligible registration periods will commence and conclude on the following dates (“Registration Period”).

3.HOW TO ENTER

3.2To enter the Competition entrants must:
(i) Watch 7NEWS Brisbane (the “Program”) broadcast at 18:00 AEST (or any replacement program broadcast in the 7NEWS timeslot) on the Seven Network from Sunday, 3 August 2025 to Friday 8 August 2025;
(ii) collect the codeword announced during the Program on each date set out in the below table;

(iv) Complete all required fields in the competition entry form
3.3 One codeword will be announced on the Program during each Reistration Period and that codeword must be used in entries placed during that Registration Period.
3.4 Entries do not carry over between each daily draw. Entrants must submit an entry within the Registration Period to be in the running for the corresponding daily draw. The table in 3.1 provides the Registration Periods for each daily draw.
3.5 Entries are limited to one entry per person per Registration Period throughout the Competition Period.
3.6For an entry to be considered valid the entrant must specify the codeword announced for that Registration Period when entering. If a codeword is used that is not codeword for the relevant Registation Period, it will render the entry invalid.
3.7In the event that a codeword does not go to air for any reason, including but not limited to changes in broadcasting, the prize draw for that entry period will be redundant. Entries received during that entry period will be carried over into the next entry period and the winners for that entry period will be drawn in the following prize draw.
4.PRIZES
4.1There will be Five (5) Winners, one (1) drawn per Registration Period, who will each receive the prize detailed in clause 4.2

$1,200.00
Total maximum prize pool value for the prize is $1,200.00 (including GST). Prize value is correct as at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken.
4.3 In accepting the prize, the Winner agrees to participate in and co-operate with all reasonable media editorial requests, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, and the Winner grants the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the Winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.4 The Winner agrees they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
4.5 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the Winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the Promoter’s requirements.
4.6 In the event that an element of the prize outlined in the above is not available for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute with a similar product of equal or greater value, subject to state regulations.
4.7 The Winners will be selected at random and contacted directly by Ansible Pty Ltd via email.
4.8 The Winners will be required to provide valid identification to the Promoter.
4.9 The Promoter may require prize Winners to sign a waiver of liability and indemnity in the form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
4.10 The promoter may vary these terms and conditions at its discretion, subject to state government legislation
4.11 The prize is not exchangeable.
4.11.1 If a Winner is under the age of 16, at time of winner notification they must nominate a guardian over the age of 18, to receive the tickets on their behalf. They must also attend the Ekka with a guardian/adult over the age of 18.
4.11.2 Prizes will be distributed to Winners via e-mail. It is the responsibility of the Winners to check their email and junk folders for this detail, and to redeem their tickets for their Family Pass via the
https://www.ekka.com.au website. Upon ticket redemption, Winners will be able to choose which date between the 9 August 2025 to 17 August 2025, they would like to attend the Brisbane Ekka.
4.12 Once the prize is accepted, the Winner must deal directly with Ansible Pty Ltd as distributer of the prizing.
