These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the Train like a Champion competition (“Promotion”) conducted by the Queensland Academy of Sport (“QAS”), in partnership with RACQ Operations Pty Ltd (ABN 80 009 663 414), the presenting partner of the YouFor2032 Program (“RACQ”).
1. Promotion Period
The Promotion commences at 12:00am AEST on 8 September 2025 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 28 November 2025 (“Promotion Period”).
2. Eligibility
2.1 Entry is open to individuals who:
a) are residents of Queensland, Australia;
b) are aged 13 to 23 years of age as at the date the Promotion closes, for Olympic sports; or
13 to 30 years of age as at the date the Promotion closes, for Paralympic sports; and
c) have downloaded and registered within the YouFor2032 App (“App”). (“Eligible Participant”)
2.2 Entrants under the age of 18 years of age must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must also download and register their details within the App.
2.3 The following individuals are ineligible to enter or win:
a) Employees,contractors,andofficersoftheQAS,RACQ,oranyagencyorentitydirectly
associated with the conduct of the Promotion; and
b) Immediatefamilymembersoftheindividualslistedinclause2.3(a),includingspouses,de
facto spouses, parents, children or stepchildren, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters, stepbrothers, stepsisters or first cousins.
3. How to Enter
3.1 To enter, Eligible Participants must:
a) downloadtheApp;
b) completetheirregistrationdetails;and
c) complete the minimum required testing protocol within the Promotion Period, as outlined
below:
(i) Olympic Sports:
A) Complete a minimum of six (6) tests in the App to receive one (1) entry;
B) If all twelve (12) tests are completed, one (1) additional entry will be given.
C) Eligible Participants may repeat the tests multiple times during the Promotion Period (no more than once every 48 hours) to receive additional entries, up to a maximum of ten (10) entries per Eligible Participant.
(ii) Paralympic Sports:
(A) Complete at least one (1) test in the App to receive one (1) entry.
3.2 All entries must be received via the App before the conclusion of the Promotion Period.
3.3 Entries that do not comply with these Terms or that are incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent will be deemed invalid. QAS’ decision on this is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
4. Prize Details
4.1 Five (5) winners will be drawn, comprising of:
a) three(3)winnersfromtheOlympicSportcategory;and b) two(2)winnersfromtheParalympicSportcategory.
4.2 Each winner will receive the following prize (“Prize”):
a) A QAS Training Experience at the QAS High Performance Gym, located at QSAC, 468
Kessels Road, Nathan QLD 4111, conducted by the QAS Talent & Coaching team, and comprising of the following components:
(i) QAS Gym Tour (approximately 40 minutes in duration)
Winners will be guided through QAS High Performance Gym, where they’ll gain insight into the strength and conditioning facilities used by Queensland’s elite athletes. The session will showcase key equipment and training methodologies, and winners will have the opportunity to participate in testing, ask questions, and engage with QAS staff.
(ii) QASSportScienceLabTour(approximately40minutesinduration)
Winners will be guided through the QAS Sports Science Laboratory. Winners will be introduced to the performance testing equipment used by high-performance athletes and invited to take part in interactive demonstrations, such as power or reaction-time assessments, under expert supervision.
(iii) QAS Recovery Centre Experience (approximately 40 minutes in duration)
Winners will experience the QAS Recovery Centre, including access to elite-level recovery methods. This session will include the opportunity to participate in contrast therapy involving hot and cold plunge pools – a routine recovery technique used by many of Queensland’s elite athletes; and
b) Asportsequipmentvouchervaluedat$500.
4.3 The total prize pool is valued at up to $10,000 (GST exclusive). Prizes are not transferable,
exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. QAS reserves the right to substitute any component of the Prize with an alternative of equal or greater value, subject to relevant legislation.
4.4 Winners must be available to attend the QAS Training Experience in-person, on dates offered by QAS. Unavailability may deem the prize void.
5 Prize Redemption and Travel
5.1 The QAS Training Experience will be scheduled between December 2025 and January 2026, subject to facility availability and at the discretion of the QAS.
5.2 Winners who meet the relevant travel distance criteria based on their primary place of residence (as registered in the App) relative to the QAS High Performance Gym in Nathan, Queensland, will be provided with a travel gift voucher to assist with travel-related expenses. The distance tiers and corresponding voucher amounts are as follows:

5.3 Travel vouchers will be redeemable for travel expenses including but not limited to flights, accommodation, and ground transport, and must be used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the issuing travel provider. RACQ reserves the right to determine the issuing travel provider at its sole discretion.
5.4 All travel arrangements must be managed by the winner (or parent/guardian if under 18), and any costs exceeding the voucher amount will be the sole responsibility of the winner.
6 Conditions of Entry
Entrants (and a parent/legal guardian where applicable) must:
a) Provide consent to receive promotional communications by selecting the appropriate
marketing preferences within the App; and
b) Comply with the App Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
7 Winner Selection and Notification
7.1 Winners will be selected via a random draw from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The draw will occur during the week commencing 7 December 2025.
7.2 Winners will be contacted via the contact information provided in their App registration. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within seven (7) days, QAS reserves the right to conduct a redraw and allocate the prize to another eligible entrant.
8 Publicity and Media Consent
8.1 By accepting the Prize, winners (and their parent/guardian if under 18) consent to being filmed, photographed, and interviewed at the QAS Training Experience.
8.2 All content may be used by QAS and RACQ for promotional purposes across, but not limited to, the following platforms:
a) Websites
b) Social media channels
c) Internal and external communications.
8.3 No compensation will be provided for this use, and no further consent will be required.
9 Privacy and Data Use
All personal and performance data collected during the Promotion will be managed in accordance with the QAS and App Privacy Policy. Data collected for the purpose of this Promotion will only be used for:
a) TheadministrationofthePromotion;and
b) Marketingpurposes,whereexpressconsenthasbeenprovided.
10 Health and Safety
The QAS Training Experience will be conducted in accordance with relevant QAS safety protocols and standards. Participation is conditional upon winners and their parent/guardian complying with the instructions of QAS staff at all times. Failure to do so may result in removal from the activity.
11 Limitation of Liability
11.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, QAS and RACQ exclude all liability for any loss, damage, injury, or claim suffered or incurred (including indirect or consequential loss) by any entrant in connection with this Promotion or the use of the Prize.
11.2 Entrants participate in the QAS Training Experience at their own risk and are responsible for disclosing any relevant medical or physical conditions prior to participation.
