TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

The competition commences on Saturday 22nd August 2026 at 5:30am AEST and concludes on Friday 4th September at 12:00pm AEST (the “Competition Period”).
In order to enter, viewers must:
• Visit the Sunrise website and register their full name, address (including state and postcode), email address, and mobile phone number on the Competition page [Sunrise.com.au]; and
• Submit an answer to the competition question, “In 25 words or fewer, tell us what you're most excited to discover in Alaska with Princess Cruises?”
• Tick the check box, confirming they are available to travel to Seattle, United States prior to the Prize cruise, and will be available to board the Prize cruise sailing roundtrip from Seattle on 9th May 2027 until 16th May 2027.
• Tick the check box, confirming they are available to answer a Zoom or Facetime call from Weekend Sunrise on Saturday 5th September 2026 between 5:30am and 9:00am AEST.
3.3 Entries must be received by Friday 4th September 2026 at 12:00pm AEST.
3.4 Entrants may enter as many times as they like throughout the competition period.
3.5 The entry must be:
(a) the original independent creation of the entrant;
(b) written in English; and
(c) free from any claims, including but not restricted to copyright or trademark claims, by other parties.
3.6 Entry details including all submissions made remain the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the entrant. The Winner agrees to grant the Promoter a perpetual, irrevocable and non-exclusive license to use their entries in all media worldwide and the Winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
3.7 Any entry that contains content that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, considers to be offensive or inappropriate in any way or that the Promoter considers, in its sole discretion, to infringe any intellectual property rights or other rights of any person, corporation or entity, will be considered ineligible. The decision to accept or reject an entry is at the Promoter’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
3.8 The Promoter and Sponsor are not responsible for any data or other information related to this Competition that may be lost, damaged as a result of any computer software or hardware malfunction. Any issues occurring as a result of computer / server/ software problems will be rectified as quickly as possible.
3.9 Entrants must provide accurate and complete information when submitting entries, or the entry will be deemed invalid. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, validity of driver’s licence and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
 
4. PRIZES

4.2 The total prize pool is valued at up to $8,124.00 AUD (including GST).
4.3 The Prize cannot be exchanged, transferred or traded for an alternative prize, including cash.
4.4 This Prize has no official resale value and may not be authentic if purchased from a third party. Prizes may not be resold, offered for resale, used for advertising, promoting or other commercial purposes without the written consent of The Seven Network.
4.5 In participating in the Prize, the Winner agrees to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The Winner grants the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the Winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.6 If any Prize (or part of any Prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of the Prize) with a Prize of equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
4.7 Winners should seek independent financial advice about any tax implications that may arise from winning the Prize, and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of the Prize and the Promotor and Sponsor accept no liability for any tax implications that may arise from claiming the Prize.
4.8 Winners should seek advice on obtaining any valid insurance that may be required in relation to the Prize.
4.9 The Prize value is in Australian dollars.
4.10 It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner(s) (and any companions) may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.

4.13 The eZAir Credit portion of the Prize is valued at $4,000.00AUD (including GST) and is subject to the terms and conditions listed here https://www.princess.com/en-au/plan/ezair
4.14 The Winner and their companion must attend the departing port of Seattle, United States on the departure date Sunday 9th May 2027.
4.15 A valid credit card must be presented at cruise check in for incidentals. Tickets are non-transferable (i.e. no name changes allowed).
4.16 It is each traveller’s personal responsibility to ensure they have valid documentation, including but not limited to valid passports, ESTAs, vaccinations and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination.  Any necessary visas, vaccinations, passports, and any associated costs are the responsibility of the Winner and their travelling companion. Any fines, penalties, payments, or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the traveller/s.
4.17 The Prize does not include, and neither the Sponsor or Promoter are responsible for any transport, travel, accommodation or other related expenses that could be incurred for the Winner to attend any aspect of the prize. Any and all transport travel, flight and accommodation expenses, shore excursions or other onboard activities, spending money, additional meals, taxes, insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the Winner, unless otherwise stated in clause 4.1.
4.18 Prize cannot be split. The Winner and their companions must complete the Prize together. All components of the Prize must be fulfilled at the same time, and they cannot be split across different time periods.
4.19 Subject to the terms and conditions of the Sponsor, if for any reason a Winner does not, once the Prize has been booked, take the Prize (or an element of the Prize) at the time stipulated, then the Prize (or that element of the Prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
4.20 Travel insurance, airport transfers or pre and post accommodation are not included in the Prize.
4.21 International cabotage laws may prohibit guests from embarking or disembarking their voyage in any port except the main scheduled embarkation and disembarkation ports. Only those guests with a medical emergency may be allowed to embark or disembark the vessel at an unscheduled embark / disembark port. If an unscheduled embarkation or disembarkation is permitted because of an emergency, those guests may incur additional charges intended to cover any fine or penalty levied against the Sponsor and any other additional costs. Such additional costs will be added to the guests’ onboard account prior to disembarking.
4.22 The Winner may request to upgrade to a different stateroom type and/or upgrade from the Princess Plus Package to the Princess Premier Package by contacting the Sponsor and paying an additional fee as determined by the Sponsor. No other changes, including a change to the sailing date or itinerary, are permitted. Any request to make changes to the Prize may be approved in the Sponsor’s sole discretion and is subject to availability.   Any changes by the Winner made to the specified Prize package (including travel extensions) will be subject to an administration fee which must be settled in full prior to booking confirmation.
4.23 Itineraries are not guaranteed and onboard offerings are subject to change. 
4.24 Standard terms and conditions of travelling with Sponsor will apply, including any applicable age restrictions. See Sponsor’s Passage Contract, which passengers will be bound by at https://www.princess.com/en-au/legal/passage-contract.
4.25 The Prize is subject to booking availability. If the Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable, Sponsor, at its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of the Prize) with a prize to substantially equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. 
4.26 The Winner must provide valid identification to Sponsor. The Winner must be over the age of 18 years (subject to applicable age restrictions). Alcohol consumption and gambling onboard are restricted to passengers aged 18 years of age or older. A credit card imprint or cash deposit will be required from the Winner and/or accompanying guests at check-in in order to board the cruise ship, for all incidental charges. 
4.27 The Winner and their companions are responsible for all unspecified costs relating to the Prize.
4.28 The Promoter and Sponsor are not responsible for the cancellation, delay or rescheduling of any part of the Prize and any costs incurred by the Winner or any travelling companion(s) as a result (including accommodation costs) will be the responsibility of the Winner.  
4.29 The Promoter, the Sponsor and their associated agencies and companies or any organisation or individual associated with the provision of the Prize(s) make no representation as to the destination, including any safety conditions, travel restrictions, warnings, bans or other issues that may exist at any destination.
4.30 It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize and the Sponsor’s requirements.
4.31 Personal information about the Prize Winner will be shared with the Sponsor, and their agents, to the extent necessary for the Prize to be fulfilled to the Winner.
4.32 The Prize will be awarded to the person named in their contestant entry. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Competition Period it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
4.33 The Winner agrees that they will not sell or otherwise make available their story and/or photographs to any media or other organization other than the Promoter.
4.34 Subject to state permit authority restrictions, the Promoter may reasonably amend these terms and conditions, orally or in writing, in its absolute discretion.
4.35 Winner and guest travel at their own risk and, if for any reason any aspect of this Competition is not capable of running as planned, including war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic, or any other kind of disaster, tampering or computer virus, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition or suspend, substitute or modify the Prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
 HOW TO WIN
5.1 There will be One (1) Prize Winner in total throughout the Competition Period. This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the Winners.
5.2 One (1) Prize Winner will be judged from all valid entries received (online) at the conclusion of the competition. Judging will commence at 12.30pm (AEST) on Friday 4th September 2026 at Seven Network Media City, 8 Central Avenue, Eveleigh NSW 2015.
5.3 The entrant who is deemed the worthiest and submitted the most genuine entry as judged by a panel of representatives appointed by the Promoter will be awarded as the Prize Winner.
5.4 The Winner will be notified by email or by phone within two (2) business days of the prize judging. All winners will be published on www.sunrise.com.au within two (2) business days.
5.5 The Winner will be announced during broadcast of Weekend Sunrise on Seven Network, on Saturday 5th September 2026.  
5.6 The Winner must claim their prize by 12:00pm AEDT on Monday 7th December 2026. If the Prize is not claimed by that time, an unclaimed prize judging will be held on Monday 7th December 2026 from 12:30pm (AEDT) at Seven Network Media City, 8 Central Avenue, Eveleigh NSW 2015. The unclaimed winner will be notified by email or by phone within two (2) working days of the unclaimed prize judging. The unclaimed winner, if any, will be published on www.sunrise.com.au from Thursday 10th December 2026.
5.7 The Promoter’s decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.8 Incomprehensible and illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, pandemic, epidemic, government restraint, or act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel, modify or suspend the competition. If, due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter is unable to provide the stated Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award a substitute prize.
6.2 The Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Sponsor and their associated agencies and companies, to the extent permitted by law, will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
• during the judging;
• whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their entry into the Competition; or
• in the participation in any Prize;
• because of damaged, late, lost or misdirected mail;
• due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
• in relation to failure of an entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion; and
• arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any computer equipment, software, internet connection, any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer software related to or resulting from participation in this Competition.
