Heineken Chance to Win a Trip to the Rugby World
Cup Promotion (17/08/2015 – 27/09/2015)
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants
agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
2. Entry is open to residents of New South Wales who are 18 years and over. Employees and
their immediate families of the Promoter, its agencies and venues associated with this
competition are ineligible to enter. This promotion is limited to 24/7 Sports Bar at The Star 80
Pyrmont Street, Pyrmont NSW 2009 ("Venue").
3. The promotion commences at 00.01 EST on Monday 17th August 2015 and closes at 23.59
EST on Sunday 27th September 2015 or while stocks of guide to entry forms leaflets last
(“Promotional Period”).
4. To enter:
a) purchase any Heineken product from 24/7 Sports Bar at The Star 80 Pyrmont Street,
Pyrmont NSW 2009 during the Promotional Period to receive a guide to entry leaflet
with unique code;
b) visit www.winwithheinekenrugby2015.com.au and complete all sections of the online
entry form (including first name, last name, address, email address, date of birth,
mobile number and unique code); and
c) submit the form by 23.59 EST on 27/09/2015 to register for the promotion.
5. Limit applies of one entry per person per day.
6. Entrants must retain a clear copy of their original receipt as proof of valid purchase during the
Promotional Period.
7. The draw will take place at 10.00 EST on Monday 28th September 2015 at PMG Media, 136
Cathedral Street, Woolloomooloo, NSW 2011. The first valid entry drawn will receive a prize.
8. The winner will be notified by telephone and email on Monday 28th September and the name of
winner will be published on www.winwithheinekenrugby2015.com.au
9. There will be one Major Prize. The Prize, which is an overseas trip to London for the Rugby
World Cup Final 2015 for the winner and one travel guest aged 18 years or over chosen by the
winner ("Travel Guest"), comprises:
a. return economy class airfares for the winner and the Travel Guest between the
Australian capital city nearest to the Australian residential address of the winner and
London, departing Australia on 28/10/15 and departing London on 03/11/15, including
all airline and airport taxes (valued at up to approximately $5,000 RRP, depending on
point of departure and travel choices);
b. 5 nights 4 star twin-share accommodation for the winner and Travel Guest (including
breakfast) at a Heineken partner hotel in London on the nights of 29/10/15 to 02/11/15
(inclusive) (valued at up to approximately $2,000 RRP); and
c. a Rugby World Cup Final 2015 experience package (valued at $8,000 RRP), which
includes:
i. private ground transfer for the winner and Travel Guest:
• between the airport of arrival in London and the accommodation in
paragraph (b) above, on the date of arrival in London; and

• between the accommodation in paragraph (b) above and the airport
of departure in London on 03/11/15;
ii. 2 x tickets to the Rugby World Cup Final 2015 at Twickenham on 31/10/15;
and
iii. pre- and post-match entry for the winner and Travel Guest to the official
Heineken Rugby World Cup Final event, on 31/10/15, including private
ground transfers to and from the event.
10. The Major Prize is valued at up to RRP $15,000 (depending on departure point and
travel/accommodation choices).
11. All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the
sole responsibility of the winner. All other ancillary costs including but not limited to taxes
(excluding GST), fuel, frequent flyer points, meals and beverages (unless specified), in-room
charges, transfers (unless specified), activities (unless specified), travel insurance and other
insurance, incidentals, spending money, items of a personal nature and any and all other
ancillary expenses, are the sole responsibility of the winner and Travel Guest. The winner or
Travel Guest may be required to present a credit card at the time of accommodation check-in.
12. It is a condition of accepting the Major Prize that the winner and Travel Guest arrange for, at
their own expense, comprehensive and valid travel insurance with the highest available
coverage for their period of travel. The winner and Travel Guest may be required to provide
evidence of appropriate travel insurance prior to the winner and Travel Guest availing of, or
participating in, any element of the Major Prize. The winner and Travel Guest are also solely
responsible for ensuring that they have valid visas, vaccinations, and any other necessary
travel documentation.
13. The Major Prize must be taken on the dates specified in paragraph 9 above, and cannot be
taken at any other time. Each Major Prize is a single event trip for the winner and Travel Guest,
and cannot be separated into separate trips or components. The winner and Travel Guest must
depart from and return to the same departure point, and travel together at all times.
14. Before the Major Prize is awarded, the Promoter may require the winner and Travel Guest to
each sign an agreement or deed to release the Promoter (and one or more of the service
providers, including Participating Venues, or prize suppliers, associated with the promotion)
from, and indemnify the Promoter (and one or more of the service providers, including
Participating Venues, or prize suppliers, associated with the promotion) against, any loss,
damage or injury arising from the use or participation in any component of the Major Prize,
except to the extent any loss, damage or injury is due to the negligence or wilful misconduct of
the Promoter.
15. The Promoter will make all reasonable attempts to identify and contact the Major Prize winner.
In the event that the winner cannot be identified or contacted by 28/09/15 at 14.59 AEST,
despite all reasonable attempts to do so, or a winner does not accept the Major Prize in
accordance with these terms and conditions, or a Major Prize is otherwise unclaimed by that
time for any other reason whatsoever (whether because the winner is successfully identified
and contacted but forfeits his or her right to a Major Prize, it is discovered that the winner was
not eligible to enter this promotion, the winner breaches these Terms and Conditions in a way
that would render him or her ineligible to claim or avail of the Major Prize, the winning entry
does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or otherwise), a second chance draw will be
held on 30/09/15 at 15.00 AEST at the same place as the first draw in order to determine a
second chance winner in the same manner as the first draw (subject to any written directions
from a regulatory authority).
16. The second chance winner will be notified by email and telephone within two (2) days of the
second chance draw and winners name published on www.winwithheinekenrugby2015.com.au.
The second chance winner will be subject to the same restrictions in these Terms and
Conditions as the first winner would have been.

17. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The Promoter’s decision is final
and binding - no correspondence will be entered into.
18. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to
receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury in connection
with the conduct of the promotion whether as a result of:
a. technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches, technical
website malfunctions or glitches; or
b. acts or omissions (including negligent acts of omissions) of the Promoter's servants or
agents involved in the conduct of this promotion.
In the event of such problems or conduct, the Promoter may modify, cancel, terminate or
suspend the promotion.
19. If any prize or any element of a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's
control, the Promoter may substitute a prize or element of a prize of equal or greater value at
the Promoter’s sole discretion, subject to any written directions from the relevant authorities.
Winners will not be entitled to any additional compensation in the event that the prize or
element of a prize has been substituted at equal or greater value.
20. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address and
any other information from entrants relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion.
Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves
the right to disqualify any individual who provides false information, fails to provide information,
conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage or is otherwise involved in any conduct that
involves manipulating, interfering or tampering with this promotion or otherwise preventing the
conduct of the promotion as intended by the Promoter. In the event of such problems or
conduct, then the Promoter may (where necessary with approval from the relevant lottery
authority) modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the promotion.
21. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any winner as a
result of the winner accepting and/or using a prize, except for any loss, damage or injury which
is due to the negligence or wilful misconduct of the Promoter or which otherwise cannot be
excluded by law. Participation in and acceptance of a Major Prize is subject to the terms and
conditions of the relevant airlines and hotels, and any other service provider or prize supplier
associated with this promotion. The Promoter and all service providers and prize suppliers
associated with this promotion expressly reserve the right to eject the winner and/or Travel
Guest for any inappropriate behaviour while participating in any element of a Major Prize.
22. All travel, accommodation and activities are subject to availability at all times. Travel may be
dependent on seat class availability with airlines or room category availability with
accommodation partner. All flight and accommodation bookings regarding a Major Prize will be
made by the Promoter and may be restricted to itineraries, airline carriers, hotels, rooms and
any other service providers or prize suppliers chosen by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
Redeeming the Major Prize is conditional on acceptance of the terms and conditions of all
service providers and prize suppliers associated with the Major Prize (including the airline
carriers and hotels). Once a booking is confirmed, the winner and Travel Guest will be solely
responsible for the payment of any change, amendment or cancellation fees incurred as a
result of the winner and/or Travel Guest changing or cancelling a booking. Any unused portions
of a Major Prize will be forfeited. Enquiries regarding bookings may be made at
promotions@heinekenlion.com.au.
23. Winner/s and their guests may also be required to provide a credit card imprint at check-in to
the accommodation that will be used to charge for incidentals (such as optional activities)
and/or as a bond in case of damage to the property.
24. Entrants will be refused service of alcohol or provision of an alcoholic beverage prize if it would
breach any relevant laws, codes or policies including those of the relevant liquor licensee

relating to the Code of Practice for Responsible Service of Alcohol. The Promoter supports the
responsible service of alcohol.
25. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, image, entry, and/or voice in the event that
they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the
purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products
manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
26. Any personal property rights in entries are owned by the Promoter. Details from entries will be
collected and used for the purpose of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure
to third parties, including local lottery authorities, for the purpose of processing and conducting
the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this
promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the
Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any
media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or
payment to the entrant. Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information
and obtain a copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy by contacting the Promoter on 1800 308 388
during office hours.
