Competition overview
This overview forms part of the general Terms and Conditions for the “Manpower – Online Promotion” (competition). The promoter is the ARN Broadcasting Pty Ltd (Mix101.1). “Manpower – Online Promotion” will air on Mix101.1 Melbourne. Entry is online via
www.mix1011.com.au.
Mix101.1 listeners will be invited to participate in the competition from 6am Monday 30th August 2010 until 11.59pm Sunday 5th September 2010. Listeners will be invited to log onto
www.mix1011.com.auand register their details for their chance to win tickets for themselves and 9 friends to see Manpower perform at their chosen location. When registering their details, listeners will also need to select which of the 9 venues they wish to see the show at. All entrants must be over the age of 18.
From the entries received 9 x winners will be selected – one for each of the following venues: Hallam Hotel, York on Lilydale Hotel, Chelsea Heights Hotel, Shoppingtown Hotel, Daisey’s Hotel, Gateway Hotel, Westend Market Hotel, Village Green Hotel and Ferntree Gully Hotel. The major winners will each be given 10 x tickets to the nominated date, time and venue, as well as a $50 drink card.

Ticketsare non-transferrable and must be taken for the date and time offered. Tickets are valid for the specified session only, and cannot be exchanged for another date, time or for a refund.
Terms and Conditions
1.
The Promoter is ARN Broadcasting Pty Ltd (Mix101.1) ABN 61 003 181 244, Level 2, 21-31 Goodwood Street, Richmond, 3121.
2.
The Radio Station is MIX101.1 FM.
3.
Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these terms and conditions. Any general competition rules or terms and conditions of the Radio Station do not apply to this Promotion.
4.
Any entry which does not comply with these terms and conditions is invalid.
5.
Entry is open to residents of Victoria. Employees of the Promoter or its associated companies, employees of any agencies, affiliates, sponsors, sub-sponsors or representatives of the Promoter and the immediate families of any such employees are not eligible to enter. Any person who has won a prize valued at $1,000 or more from the Promoter, or the Radio Station, in any promotion within the past six months, is ineligible to enter.

The Promotion commences at 6am Monday 30th August 2010 until 11.50pm Sunday 5th September 2010. (“Promotional Period”).
7.
To enter this Promotion, participants will need to enter via online at
www.mix1011.com.au. They will need to register their details, along with selecting which location they would like to see the show at for their chance to win 10 tickets, along with a $50 drink card.
8.
Participants are not limited in the attempts at entry, however any form of automated entry using any other devices or software (not previously specified) is invalid.
9.
Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter. The Promoter is not responsible for failure to receive any entry for any cause beyond its control.
10.
The prize allocation and winner notification will occur between 9am Monday 6th September 2010 to 5pm Monday 6th September 2010, at Mix101.1, Level 2, 21-31 Goodwood Street, Richmond. Winners will be notified via phone and in writing only.

Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that:

he or she may be required by the Promoter, in its absolute discretion, to:
1.
participate in promotional activities for the benefit of the Promoter (including participating in a sound recording, photograph, video or film session); and
2.
that he or she will not, without the prior written consent of the Promoter (which may be given or withheld in its absolute discretion) participate in any other media activities, promotions or events for the purpose of or which involve discussion, commenting on, expressing a view or giving an account of the Promotion, the Promoter, its related bodies corporate or the operations of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate; and

in promotional activities referred to in Clause 16(a)(i) and (ii) he/she will express a positive view of the Promoter and its operations and refrain from expressing a negative or disparaging view of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate or the operations of the Promoter or its related bodies corporate.
14.
Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Promoter has the right to use any materials generated in connection with the Promotion in any medium and in any manner it sees fit.
15.
The total prize pool is valued at $3,415.50 (GST inclusive).
16.
Prizes: 9 x major winners will receive 10 x passes to their nominated location to see Manpower live on stage at the specified date and time. Each major winner will also receive a $50 to be used on the night.
17.
Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for another session or cinema. Prize values are correct at the time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any prizes.
18.
The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage, including indirect or consequential loss or damage, or personal injury suffered during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
19.
A winner may be required to sign a waiver of liability and indemnity in favour of the Promoter in respect of a prize, in the form determined by the Promoter.
20.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. All details will be held in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy which can be viewed at the website of the Radio Station at
www.mix1011.com.au.
21.
All entrants must be over the age of 18.
22.
All decisions made by the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
23.
All winners tickets will need to be collected in person by the nominated winner from the Mix101.1 studios at Level 2, 21-31 Goodwood Street, Richmond 3121 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Listeners will need to provide photographic identification when they arrive, and this must also show the street address which they have used to enter the competition. If a winner is unable to collect the tickets in person, they will need to supply written authorisation, and Mix101.1 will post out their tickets (standard mail) via Australia Post prior to the screening. Mix101.1 takes no responsibility for failure within the Postage System resulting in tickets arriving after the screening date. Mix101.1 is under no obligation to provide a make good if this occurs. Mix101.1 will not be held responsible for any lost or late tickets subject to Australia Post postal services.
24.
Subject to the approval required by any relevant gaming or lotteries authority, if any prize item is unavailable despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure it in Australia, the Promoter may substitute a different prize item of equal or greater value.
25.
If the Promotion/Screening is not able to be run as planned, whether caused by computer virus, line drop-out or congestion, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which affects the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion, the Promoter may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. The Promoter may disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
