CONDITIONS
PARTICIPATION
1. This competition ("Competition") is conducted by Pizza Hut Adco Limited, ABN 38 085 270 640, of 20 Rodborough Road, Frenchs Forest NSW 2086 ("Promoter").
2. Participation in the Competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions ("Conditions"). All claim instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these Conditions.
3. The Competition is only open to Eligible Entrants. An "Eligible Entrant" is an individual who: (i) is a resident of Australia; and (ii) is not an employee of the Promoter or any of its related corporations or any of their agencies associated with the Competition; (iii) is not an employee of a Pizza Hut franchisee; and (iii) is not a spouse, defacto spouse, parent, child or sibling (whether full, half, step or by adoption) of such an employee.
4. Competition entry opens at 00:00 hrs on 7/9/10 and closes at 24:00 hrs on 1/11/10 ("Entry Period"). All times and dates are local time in the place where the specified event is to occur, which may be AEST or AEDT depending on the date. Where times are stated using the 24 hour clock, 00:00 hrs is the start of a day and 24:00 hrs is the end of a day.ENTRY
5. To enter, an Eligible Entrant must first, during the period from 00:00 hrs on 7/9/10 to 24:00hrs on 18/10/10 (the "Purchase Period"), purchase any "large" size Pizza Hut pizza (a "Large Pizza Hut Pizza"):
* in person at an Australian Pizza Hut outlet;
* by calling 1300 PIZZA HUT; or
* at www.pizzahut.com.au.
6. At the time of delivery, and subject to availability, one Competition scratch card ("Scratch Card") will be provided for each Large Pizza Hut Pizza so purchased during the Purchase Period. For the purposes of these Conditions, only Large Pizza Hut Pizzas that are ordered and paid for during the Purchase Period are deemed to have been purchased during the Purchase Period.
7. Subject to the other Conditions, an Eligible Entrant may enter the Competition once for every Large Pizza Hut Pizza that he/she purchases in accordance with the requirements of condition 5. 8. There is a maximum of 1,700,000 Scratch Cards available.
9. Each Scratch Card will allow an Eligible Entrant to play two different games: "Game 1" and "Game 2"
GAME 1 – HOW PLAYED
10. Above the perforation line on each Scratch Card there are 9 covered panels (set out as 3 rows each of 3 panels) (the "Game 1 Prize Panels") and one panel under the Prize Panels marked "VOID IF REMOVED".
11. An Eligible Entrant may, subject to these Conditions, determine whether they are entitled to a Game 1 Prize by scratching off the covering of 3 (and only 3) of the 9 Game 1 Prize Panels.
12. Subject to these Conditions, if the same dollar amount is revealed under all of the 3 scratched Game 1 Prize Panels, the Eligible Entrant will be entitled to:
* $10,000, if same revealed dollar amount is TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS;
* $$500, if same revealed dollar amount is FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS; or
* $an EFTPOS Gift Card to the value of the same revealed dollar amount, if that amount is either: FIVE DOLLARS, TEN DOLLARS, TWENTY DOLLARS or ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS.
(each a "Game 1 Prize").
13. There is a maximum of 1,700,000 Game 1 Prizes available to be won, comprising:

14. For each Scratch Card, the odds of revealing a Game 1 Prize are 1:84.GAME 1 PRIZES
15. Eligible Entrants, except residents of South Australia, who reside at the same address cannot together win more than three Game 1 Prizes (see Condition 21(v)).
16. The Game 1 Prizes that are:
* $10,000, will be paid by means of a crossed cheque payable to the winner, or if the winner so requests, by means of electronic transfer of funds to any nominated account in Australia;
* $500, will be paid by means of a crossed cheque payable to the winner.
17. The EFTPOS Gift Cards that comprise the other Game 1 Prizes are issued by Edge Loyalty, 658 Church Street, Richmond VIC 3121 ("Issuer").
18. Each EFTPOS Gift Card is issued subject to the Issuer's terms of use, which include but are not limited to the following conditions. The EFTPOS Gift Card must be fully redeemed within 12 months from date of issue. If the EFTPOS Gift Card is lost or stolen it will not be replaced or refunded. The EFTPOS Gift Card cannot be redeemed for cash or used to withdraw cash at an ATM or EFTPOS facility or re-loaded with additional funds. The EFTPOS Gift Card can be used for purchases anywhere in Australia where EFTPOS is accepted by selecting the savings button and entering the PIN number. Any unused balance existing after the EFTPOS Gift Card expires will not be refunded or credited, nor will any compensation be provided. When the cost of purchasing a good or service exceeds the EFTPOS Gift Card balance, the cardholder will be required to pay the difference between the purchase price and the balance remaining on the EFTPOS Gift Card. GAME 1 PRIZE CLAIMS (and Second Chance Draw entry)
19. To claim a Game 1 Prize and enter the Second Chance Draw, an Eligible Entrant must:
* separate, along the marked perforation line, the Game 1 section of his/her Game 1 Prize winning Scratch Card from the Game 2 section;
* complete his/her details as directed on the back of the Game 1 section of his/her Game 1 Prize winning Scratch Card; and
* if the Game 1 Prize being claimed is:
o a $10,000 Game 1 Prize, or a $500 Game 1 Prize:
+ no later than 8.30pm Sydney time on 22/10/10, call the Promoter on 1800 662 223 to receive instructions as to how the Eligible Entrant should submit his/her Game 1 Prize claim. (Calls made between Monday and Friday (inc) must be made between 9.30am and 8.30pm; calls on a Saturday must be made between 12 noon and 8.30pm; and calls made on a Sunday must be made between 2pm and 8.30pm (all Sydney time);
+ follow the instructions provided to submit his/her Game 1 Prize claim; or
o any other Game 1 Prize, submit his/her Game 1 Prize claim by posting, in a stamped envelope (one claim per envelope) to: Edge Loyalty, Locked Bag 6005, Richmond VIC 3121:
+ the Game 1 section of his/her Game 1 Prize winning Scratch Card; and
+ the Game 1 token cut from the lid of the box used to supply the Large Pizza Hut Pizza with which the Game 1 Prize winning Scratch Card was provided.
(The Promoter recommends that a photocopy of the posted section of the Scratch Card be kept.)
20. Each Game 1 Prize claim must be received during the Entry Period.
21. A Game 1 Prize claim will not be accepted if:
* the covering of more than 3 Game 1 Prize Panels has been wholly or partially removed;
* excluding the 3 Game 1 Prize Panels from which the covering has been removed, there are any marks or scratches on any other Game 1 Prize Panels that wholly or partially reveal a dollar amount in a way that is likely to increase the odds of winning a Game 1 prize;
* the covering of the panel marked VOID IF REMOVED has been wholly or partially removed;
* the Scratch Card submitted with the claim, or any part of it, fails any security or verification checks or is void under the provisions of Condition 51;
* except where the Eligible Claimant submitting the Game 1 Prize claim resides in South Australia, three Game 1 Prize claims in total have already been accepted from persons (including the Eligible Claimant submitting the Game 1 Prize claim) who reside at the same address; or
* the Game 1 Prize claim does not include the Game 1 token cut from the lid of the box used to supply the Large Pizza Hut Pizza with which the Game 1 Prize winning Scratch Card was provided.
22. An Eligible Entrant whose Game 1 Prize claim is accepted will be notified by post using the address provided in their prize claim and if his/her Game 1 Prize is an EFTPOS Gift Card, that card will be forwarded with the notification.
GAME 2 – HOW PLAYED
23. Below the perforation line on each Scratch Card there is one covered panel (the "Game 2 Panel").
24. An Eligible Entrant may, by scratching off the covering of the Game 2 Panel, determine subject to these Conditions, whether he/she is entitled to claim a prize of $1,000 (a "Game 2 Prize") or one of four different Pizza Hut rewards (each a "Reward").
25. If the words:
* "ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS" are revealed, the Eligible Entrant may, subject to these Conditions, claim one Game 2 Prize;
* "FREE GARLIC BREAD" are revealed, the Eligible Entrant may, subject to these Conditions, claim one Free Garlic Bread Reward;
* "FREE 1.25 LITRE DRINK" are revealed, the Eligible Entrant may, subject to these Conditions, claim one Free 1.25L Drink Reward;
* "FREE TWIST UPS" are revealed, the Eligible Entrant may, subject to these Conditions, claim one Free 2pk of Twist Ups Reward;
* "$3 OFF LARGE PIZZA" are revealed, the Eligible Entrant may, subject to these Conditions, claim $3 off his/her next Large Pizza Hut Pizza purchase.
GAME 2 PRIZES
26. There is a maximum of 10 Game 2 Prizes available to be won (maximum total value $10,000). Each Game 2 Prize comprises $1,000 which will be paid by means of a crossed cheque payable to the winner.
GAME 2 PRIZE CLAIMS
27. To claim a Game 2 Prize, an Eligible Entrant must:
* complete his/her details as directed on the back of the Game 1 section of his/her Game 2 Prize winning Scratch Card; and
* no later than 8.30pm Sydney time on 22/10/10, call the Promoter on 1800 662 223 to receive instructions as to how the Eligible Entrant should submit his/her Game 2 Prize claim. (Calls made between Monday and Friday (inc) must be made between 9.30am and 8.30pm; calls on a Saturday must be made between 12 noon and 8.30pm; and calls made on a Sunday must be made between 2pm and 8.30pm (all Sydney time); and
* follow the instructions provided to submit his/her Game 2 Prize claim.
28. Each Game 2 Prize claim must be received during the Entry Period.
29. A Game 2 Prize claim will not be accepted if:
* the covering of the Scratch Card panel marked VOID IF REMOVED has been wholly or partially removed; or
* the Scratch Card submitted with the claim, or any part of it, fails any security or verification checks or is void under the provisions of Condition 51.
30. An Eligible Entrant whose Game 2 Prize claim is accepted will be notified by post using the address provided in their prize claim and his/her Game 2 Prize will be forwarded with that notification.

GAME 2 REWARD CLAIMS
32. To claim a Game 2 Reward, an Eligible Entrant must, during the Entry Period:
* separate the Game 1 section of his/her Scratch Card from the winning Game 2 section (the separation must be made using the separation line on the card);
* purchase a Large Pizza Hut Pizza from a participating Australian Pizza Hut, either:
o in person, or
o by calling 1300 PIZZA HUT.
Purchases made at
www.pizzahut.com.au do not qualify, nor does the original purchase of the Large Pizza Hut Pizza for which the winning Game 2 Scratch Card was issued.
If the Game 2 Reward is:
o "$3 off your next Large Pizza Hut Pizza purchase", the Large Pizza Hut Pizza must be purchased for the undiscounted menu board price, and the purchase cannot be made using any other coupon, offer, discount or deal;
o any other Reward, the Large Pizza Hut Pizza purchase may be made for the undiscounted menu board price OR by using any other official coupon, offer, discount or deal.
* at the time of placing his/her order for the Large Pizza Hut Pizza (if the order is placed by telephone), mention that he/she intends to claim a Game 2 Reward; and
* at the time of paying for his/her Large Pizza Hut Pizza, hand over the Game 2 section of their Game 2 winning Scratch Card.
33. No more than one Reward may be claimed for each Large Pizza Hut Pizza that is purchased.
34. Rewards that are food/drink will be provided at the time that the Large Pizza Hut Pizza is delivered; the "$3 off your next Large Pizza Hut Pizza purchase" will be applied at the time that the Large Pizza Hut Pizza is paid for.
SECOND CHANCE DRAW – GAME 2 PRIZES
35. Any Game 2 Prizes that have not been claimed during the Entry Period will be awarded in a second chance draw which will commence at 2pm on 4/11/10 at Edge Loyalty, 658 Church Street, Richmond VIC 3121 (the "Second Chance Draw").
36. Only Game 1 Prize winners will be included in the Second Chance Draw.
37. Second Chance Draw winners will be notified by mail.
38. Subject, where relevant, to any directions given under the legislation regulating the Competition, if any prize awarded in the Second Chance Draw is not claimed by the winner, the prize will be awarded to another Game 1 Prize winner in a redraw for that prize ("Unclaimed Prize Draw") commencing at 2pm on 18/2/11 at Edge Loyalty, 658 Church Street, Richmond VIC 3121.
ENTRY VERIFICATION
39. All entries (including Prize and Reward claims) may be subject to verification by the Promoter. The Promoter will reimburse an entrant for any reasonable costs incurred in complying with this condition. An entrant MUST, within 7 days of being asked, deliver to the Promoter (by a means determined by the Promoter) copies of any documents the Promoter may request establishing eligibility to enter or win, including evidence of age, residence or identity. The Promoter may make one or more requests for such documents. Once the identity of documents available is established, an entrant must deliver requested copies within 7 days of being asked to do so. At the Promoter's request, an entrant MUST also, within 7 days of being asked, allow the Promoter to inspect and copy the original of any such document.
40. The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, declare any or all entries (including Prize and Reward claims) made by an entrant invalid if the entrant: (i) fails to establish their entitlement to enter the Competition to the Promoter's satisfaction; or (ii) fails to produce items as required by condition 39 or produces items that, in the Promoter's opinion, are illegible, stolen, forged, reconstructed, altered, incomplete or tampered with in any way; or (iii) in the Promoter's opinion, tampers with the entry process or benefits from such tampering; or (iv) in the Promoter's opinion, submits an entry (including a Prize claim or Reward claim) which is not in accordance with these conditions.
WINNER PUBLICATION
41. The names of all winners of:
* Game 1 Prizes valued at $10,000 and $500; and
* all Game 2 Prizes that are claimed during the Entry Period,
will be published in The Australian on 17/11/10.
42. The names of all Second Chance Draw winners will be published in The Australian on 21/12/10.
43. The names of all winners in the Unclaimed Prize Draw (if held) will be published in The Australian on 4/3/11.
PRIZE AND REWARD POOL
44. The maximum total value of all:
* Game 1 Prizes is $10,197,250;
* Game 2 Prizes is $10,000; and
* Game 2 Rewards is $5,728,966.30.
GENERAL
45. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
46. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible claims are invalid.
47. If there is a dispute as to the identity of a claimant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine his/her identity.
48. The Promoter's decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
49. A right to receive a Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and, except for a $10,000 or $500 Game 1 Prize and a Game 2 Prize, cannot be taken as cash. A right to receive a Reward is not exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
50. All claims become the property of the Promoter.
51. Only bona fide original winning Scratch Cards will be honoured. Scratch Cards may include unique security measures to guard against fraud. A Scratch Card is null and void if it, or any part of it, fails any of the security or verification checks. The Promoter may conduct security or verification checks in its absolute discretion. A Scratch Card is null and void and cannot be used to claim a Game 1 Prize, a Game 2 Prize or a Reward if it is stolen, mutilated, altered, copied, hand-printed, forged, water damaged, manipulated, or tampered with in any way. If, in addition to the three (3) revealed panels, there are any marks or scratches on other panels of the Scratch Card that wholly or partially reveal a dollar amount in a way that is likely to increase the entrant's odds of winning a Game 1 prize, then the Scratch Card is void and may not be eligible for any Game 1 prize. The following provisions of this condition only apply to Prize claims and Reward claims that are made by residents of NSW or Victoria, or are made by persons who purchased a Large Pizza Hut Pizza during the Purchase Period in NSW or Victoria: (i) unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these conditions, all Prize claims in excess of the number advertised as available (but otherwise in accordance with these conditions) will be honoured; and (ii) printing errors and other quality control errors outside the control of Eligible Entrants will not be used as the sole basis for refusing to honour a Prize claim.
52. Claimants consent to the Promoter using the claimant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Competition (including any outcome), and/or promoting the Promoter, or it franchisees, or any of the Promoter's products.
53. If this Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any claimant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition, as appropriate.
54. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter, its related corporations and agencies (including officers, employees and agents) expressly exclude all liability (including negligence) suffered or incurred by any person for personal injury or any loss or damage, cost or expense (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any Prize or Reward claim that fails any security or verification checks or is otherwise void under the provisions of Condition 51; (d) any Prize or Reward claim that is submitted late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter or its agent); (e) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Conditions; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or claimant; or (g) use or misuse of a prize.
55. Entrants' personal information will be collected by or on behalf of the Promoter to enable it to administer the Competition and publicise its prize winner(s) and, if an entrant consents, may be used to market its products to the entrant. The personal information of each prize winner may be provided to others assisting in the conduct of the Competition, including the Competition administrator, prize suppliers and deliverers, and to regulatory authorities. Persons may contact the Promoter by post at the address stated in condition 1 to request access to, or corrections of, any of their collected personal information that is held by the Promoter. If an entrant does not provide accurate personal information the Promoter may determine that they are not eligible to win a Prize.
