Eligibility

    * This contest is organised by The Ascott Limited (“Ascott”) and is open to all during the qualifying period, save for territories where participation in such contests are prohibited by applicable law or regulation.
    * Employees (including immediate family of such employees, in employment during the qualifying periods) of Ascott, CapitaLand Limited and all related companies shall not be eligible for the Contest.

Qualifying Periods

    * The qualifying period for the contest is from 7 September 2010 to 30 September 2010. Any submission outside this period shall not be taken into consideration.

Judging of Entries

    * The judging will be conducted between 1 October and 3 October 2010. Results will be announced by 4 October 2010.
    * Winners will be selected based on their entries.
    * The selection will be conducted at Ascott Centre for Excellence, No 2 Anthony Road, Singapore 229956.
    * Winners will be notified by email. Any unclaimed prize will be forfeited after 1 month from the date of the announcement of the winner. The prize so forfeited shall not entitle the winner to any compensation, notwithstanding non-receipt by winner of any notification.

Prizes

    * Prizes are valid for 6 months from date of issue.
    * The prize is a complimentary 3-night stay at a Studio Executive apartment for 2 persons at Citadines Melbourne on Bourke.
    * Reservation must be made at least 48 hours prior to arrival and is subject to availability and block-out periods.
    * All prizes are not exchangeable for cash and are to be utilised in exchange for free room-night’s stay only. All other expenses incurred during the stay are to be borne by the guest.
    * All prizes are non-transferable and may only be utilised by the winner.

Others

    * Ascott reserves the right to select one or more reserve candidates to replace the winner subsequently found to be disqualified or who fails to claim the prize.
    * Prizes must be claimed at the serviced apartment designated by Ascott and shall be subject to such terms and conditions which Ascott may in its sole and absolute discretion impose from time to time.

General

    * Ascott reserves the right to, at any time for whatever reason and without prior notice, (i) suspend, terminate and/or vary any of the prizes, (ii) withdraw the contest; (iii) refuse acceptance of an entry without the need to furnish any explanation; and (iv) amend these terms and conditions in its absolute discretion, including but not limited to the eligibility terms and criteria, the selection of winners, and the timing of any act to be done, and all participants shall be bound by these amendments.
    * The decision made by Ascott on all matters relating to the contest shall be final, binding and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained.
    * Ascott shall not be responsible for any claim, loss or damage arising from and in connection with any participation in the contest.
    * In the event of any inconsistency between the terms and conditions contained herein and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the contest, the terms contained herein shall prevail.
    * The contest and its terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. By entry into the contest, participants agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts.
    * In accepting the prize, the winner agrees to be featured in any Ascott collateral for publicity and announcement purposes.
