Score tickets to this moving French/Australian co-production.

French filmmaker Julie Bertucelli journeyed to Australia to make the ecologically-minded and beautifully realised The Tree based on the novel by Judy Pascoe.

After the sudden death of her father, 8-year-old Simone (young star Morgana Davies) shares a secret with her mother Dawn (Charlotte Gainsbourg). She's convinced her father speaks to her through the leaves of her favourite tree. But the new bond between mother and daughter is threatened when Dawn starts a relationship with plumber George (Marton Csokas) called in to remove the tree's troublesome roots. As the branches of the tree start to infiltrate the house, the family is forced to make an agonising decision.

For your chance to win a double-pass, let us know your favourite film starring French actress Charlotte Gainsbourg. Please include your name and address. Email answer and details to competitions@filmink.com.au
