TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter, mechanics of entry and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into this
promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry. Entry is via online entry form only.
2. Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 13 years and over and, in the event they are drawn as a Prizebowl
Draw winner (as defined in Condition 10), are able to participate in the CC’s Prizebowl Event (as defined in
Condition 15) in the manner required (as outlined below in Condition 15) (Eligible Entrants). The directors,
management and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, its related entities, printers,
suppliers, providers and agencies whom are directly associated with the conduct of this promotion are ineligible
to enter the promotion.
3. Eligible Entrants aged under 18 years must obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian to enter the
promotion and provide personal information about themselves. All entries of Eligible Entrants who are under
the age of 18 years and enter the promotion without disclosing (or attempting to conceal) their age (as and
where required) and/or do not provide the required parental consent (as and where required) will be deemed
invalid. These Conditions of Entry will bind the Eligible Entrants and any parent or legal guardian who gives their
consent (for Eligible Entrants aged under 18 years of age). If any prize winner is aged under 18 years, the prize
will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian (who consented to the Eligible Entrant entering the promotion) on
behalf of the winner, at the discretion of the Promoter.
4. Promotion commences at 12:01am (AEDT) on 11/10/2010 and closes at 11.59pm (AEDT) on 19/11/2010
(Promotional Period).
5. To enter the promotion, Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotional Period:
a. Purchase any CC’s 45g, 130g, 200g, 6-pack or multi-packs containing CC’s from a participating store in
Australia during the Promotional Period (Eligible Purchase); and
b. Log on to www.ccscornchips.com.au (Promotional Website) and complete all requested details in full and
submit in the manner required the online entry form, including entering the last four (4) digits of the barcode of
the Eligible Purchase. Upon submitting all requested details, Eligible Entrants will be entered into a Prizebowl
Draw and a message will appear on screen confirming their entry has been submitted. If an entry is not
successful because the barcode submitted by an Eligible Entrant is not recognised by the Promoter as an
eligible barcode for the promotion, a “try again” message will appear on screen. The “try again” message will
prompt the Eligible Entrant to check their barcode and resubmit their entry in the required manner.
6. Eligible Entrants are limited to a maximum of five (5) entries per day. Each entry must be based on a separate
Eligible Purchase and must fully comply with the entry requirements set out in these Conditions of Entry.
7. An Eligible Entrant may be required to provide to the Promoter proof of purchase for all entries made. If an
Eligible Entrant is unable to provide proof of purchase for all entries made within the required timeframes, then
all the entries of that Eligible Entrant will be ineligible and deemed invalid. Proof of purchase includes showing
the original or providing a photocopy of the store receipt for each Eligible Purchase made during the Promotional
Period.
8. Any costs associated with accessing the Promotional Website remain the responsibility of each Eligible Entrant
and are dependent on the Internet service provider used. Contact details entered incorrectly on the Promotional
Website by an Eligible Entrant will deem an entry invalid.
9. Time of entry - internet: Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at
the time of transmission. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoter. Incomplete, inaccurate,
erroneous, ineligible or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility
for late, lost or misdirected entries.
10. Promotional Draws: Each Eligible Entrant who submits an entry in accordance with these Conditions of Entry
will be entered into a prizebowl draw (Prizebowl Draws). Prizebowl Draws will be conducted on the dates and
times as stated in Condition 11 (Promotional Periods) and will take place at Message Media Interactive, Level
22, 385 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 on 25/10/2010, 1/11/2010, 8/11/2010, 15/11/2010 and 22/11/2010
at 12:00pm (AEDT). Prizebowl Draw winners will be notified by telephone and in writing (mail or email) and the
name and locality of Prizebowl Draw winners will be published in The Australian on 25/11/2010. All reasonable
steps to notify winners of the results of the promotion will be taken by the Promoter. The Promoter’s decision is
final and no correspondence will be entered into. Entries for a given Promotional Period that are not drawn as a
winning entry for that Promotional Period will rollover to subsequent Prizebowl Draws (if any).
11. Prizebowl Draws are as set out in the table below:
12. The first Eligible Entrant randomly drawn from all entries received for each Prizebowl Draw will win the right to
attend the CC’s Prizebowl Event (as defined in Condition 15) (Prizebowl Draw Prize). For the avoidance of
doubt, there will be a total of five (5) Prizebowl Draw winners drawn in the promotion and an Eligible Entrant can
only win one (1) Prizebowl Draw Prize. If an Eligible Entrant is drawn as a Prizebowl Draw winner, any further
entries from that Eligible Entrant drawn as a winner in further Prizebowl Draws (if applicable) will be deemed
invalid.
13. The Promoter may draw two (2) additional reserve entries in each Prizebowl Draw and record them (in order) in
case an invalid entry or ineligible Entrant is drawn, or the Eligible Entrant is unable to accept the Prizebowl Draw
Prize, or if the Eligible Entrant does not confirm their eligibility to be awarded the Prizebowl Draw Prize in the
required time as per the Condition 14 below. Once recorded by the Promoter, the reserve entries will be placed
back into the pool of eligible entries for the drawing of the further prizes (if any).
14. The person whose entry was drawn in a Prizebowl Draw must confirm their eligibility to participate in the CC’s
Prizebowl Event (as defined in Condition 15) within 72 hours of being successfully notified by the Promoter
that they have been drawn, otherwise their entry will be deemed invalid. If the Promoter is unable to notify any
Eligible Entrant drawn, the procedures outlined in Condition 21 will apply.

Prizebowl Event’ (CC’s Prizebowl Event). Details regarding the CC’s Prizebowl Event are as follows:

QLD 4209 (or on a date and at a venue to be determined by the Promoter, in its sole discretion, at a later
date). Each Prizebowl Draw winner will be awarded one (1) night’s 3* accommodation for themselves
and one (1) travel companion aged 18 years or older (double room twin share), $200.00 cash food and
beverage allowance and return transfers to and from accommodation and CC’s Prizebowl Event venue
so the Prizebowl Draw winners can participate in the CC’s Prizebowl Event (Event Prize). If a Prizebowl
Draw winner’s ordinary residential address is more than 200 kilometers from QLD CBD, the Event Prize will
include return airfares to QLD, Australia in economy class from the Prizebowl Draw winner’s nearest capital
city for themselves and one (1) travel companion aged 18 years or older (including airfare related taxes and
charges and return transfers to and from airport and accommodation). The Event Prize is valued at up to
AUD$2,000.00 per Prizebowl Draw winner (Recommended Retail Price including GST, depending on point
of departure). All other costs including meals, beverages, laundry services, spending money, transport to and
from departure point, taxes (including applicable arrival and departure taxes), insurance, travel insurance and
all other ancillary costs not expressly provided, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the
Prizebowl Draw winner and their travel companion;
b. The CC’s Prizebowl Event permits the five (5) Prizebowl Draw winners a ‘chance for a chance to win’ and will
be conducted as follows:
i. The five (5) Prizebowl Draw winners will be given the chance to operate a crane (by either giving
live instructions to a professional crane operator or by remote control, to be determined by the Promoter
in its sole discretion) and direct the crane claw into a specially built ‘prizebowl’ which will contain 200
‘replica’ promotional ‘corn chips’ (Chips). All Chips will be numbered 1-200 and will correspond with a predetermined
prize with five (5) Chips corresponding with the five (5) major prizes (Major Prizes) and the
remaining 195 Chips corresponding with one (1) of the 195 minor prizes (Minor Prizes). The Prizebowl
Event will be overseen by an audience and an independent adjudicator;
ii. The CC’s Prizebowl Event will consist of each Prizebowl Draw winner choosing one (1) Chip to remove
from the ‘prizebowl’. Each Prizebowl Draw winner may lift and maneuver the Chips inside the ‘prizebowl’,
however the first Chip which is removed from the ‘prizebowl’, at their discretion, will be determined as that
Prizebowl Draw winner’s chosen Chip. The first Chip removed will be the Prizebowl Draw winner’s final
choice and no further attempts to choose a chosen Chip is permitted. Each Prizebowl Draw winner will be
given the opportunity to complete an unlimited number of tries as they need in order to pick out one (1)
Chip from the ‘prizebowl’ and once chosen, the prize corresponding to that Chip only will be revealed. If
a Prizebowl Draw winner is unable to pick out a Chip using the crane, then one (1) Chip will be picked at
random by a member of the Prizebowl Event team (under direction from the Prizebowl Draw winner). If a
Prizebowl Draw winner lifts more than one (1) Chip at the same time out of the ‘prizebowl’ at the end of their
turn, they will be required by the Promoter to select one (1) of the Chips.
iii. Once a Chip is drawn and the number on the Chip confirmed, the Prizebowl Draw winner will be given
the corresponding (numbered) pre-sealed envelope and on opening the envelope their prize will be
revealed. Once a Chip and corresponding prize has been claimed by a Prizebowl Draw winner, that Chip/
corresponding prize will be removed from the ‘prizebowl’;
iv. The five (5) Prizebowl Draw winners will participate in the CC’s Prizebowl Event in the order they were
drawn in the Prizebowl Draws (i.e. the Prizebowl Draw winner drawn in the Prizebowl Draw on 25/10/10 will
operate the prizebowl crane first, the Prizebowl Draw winner drawn in the Prizebowl Draw on 01/11/10 will
operate the prizebowl crane second and so forth);
c. If a Prizebowl Draw winner cannot attend the CC’s Prizebowl Event, the Prizebowl Draw winner may appoint
a proxy aged 18 years or over to attend and participate in the CC’s Prizebowl Event on their behalf, provided
that the Prizebowl Draw winner gives the Promoter written notice to that effect before the CC’s Prizebowl
Event. The proxy may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute
discretion. The applicable Major Prize or Minor Prize will be awarded to the Prizebowl Draw winner only and
will be delivered to the Prizebowl Draw winner and not to the proxy. The Promoter’s decision is final and no
correspondence will be entered into; and
d. If a Prizebowl Draw winner is unable to appoint a proxy or if a Prizebowl Draw winner’s appointed proxy
cannot attend the CC’s Prizebowl Event, a representative of the Promoter will appoint a proxy to attend the
CC’s Prizebowl Event on the Prizebowl Draw winner’s behalf and the Event Prize is forfeited.
16. A Prizebowl Draw winner or a proxy must be able to participate in the CC’s Prizebowl Event in the manner
required as stated in these Conditions of Entry otherwise the entire Prizebowl Draw Prize is forfeited. No
extension of the travel/event dates in the Event Prize will be permitted. Prizebowl Draw winners and their
travel companions will not accrue any frequent flyer points from taking the Event Prize. All components
of the Event Prize must be taken together if applicable. Once booked, any changes made to the booking
may incur a cancellation fee or amendment fee, at the cost of the Prizebowl Draw winner and their travel
companion. Accommodation and travel is subject to booking, accommodation and flight availability. Travel and
accommodation are to be arranged by the Promoter or a licensed travel agent nominated by the Promoter.

27. Prizes will only be awarded where the verification fulfils all of the requirements of the Promoter’s verification
tests and procedures. The verification tests and procedures shall be determined by the Promoter in its absolute
discretion. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows
an Eligible Entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that
Eligible Entrant invalid. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right

accordance with these Conditions of Entry, or if the Eligible Entrant is engaged in any unlawful or other improper
misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to
recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
28. The Promoter will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in
the course of, or in connection with, this promotion if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the
reasonable control of the Promoter.
29. Caution: any attempt to cause malicious damage or interference with the normal functioning of the Promotional
Website or the information on the Promotional Website, or to otherwise undermine the legitimate operation
of this promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, whether
successful or not, the Promoter reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. If the
Promoter suffers loss or incurs any costs in connection with any breach of these Conditions of Entry or any other
legal obligation by an Eligible Entrant, the Eligible Entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter for those losses,
damages and costs.
30. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone or network or
lines, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on a mobile
network, or any combination thereof, or any other technical failures including any damage to an Eligible Entrant’s
or any other person’s mobile handset or computer related to, or resulting from, participation in this promotion or
the downloading of any materials related to this promotion.
31. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus,
bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of
the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this
promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the
promotion, subject to any applicable legislation.
32. Each Eligible Entrant indemnifies, and must defend and hold harmless, the Promoter and its employees,
servants, agents and contractors, from and against all losses arising from: a breach by the Eligible Entrant
of any of these Conditions of Entry; any third party claim arising directly or indirectly from a breach by the
Eligible Entrant of any of these Conditions of Entry; a negligent, willful or otherwise wrongful act or omission of
the Eligible Entrant; any breach by the Eligible Entrant of any applicable laws, or any claim by any third party
(including individuals, legal entities and governmental departments or agencies) arising directly or indirectly as a
result of the Eligible Entrant entering this promotion.
33. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the Eligible Entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event
they are a Prizebowl Draw winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an
unlimited period of time without further notification, remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting,
publicising or marketing this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products or services
manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. The Eligible Entrants who are drawn as Prizebowl
Draw winners agree to participate in all reasonable promoted activities in relation to this promotion as requested
by the Promoter and its agents.
34. All entries become and remain the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about
an Eligible Entrant to include the Eligible Entrant in the promotion and where appropriate award prizes. If the
personal information requested is not provided, the Eligible Entrant cannot participate in the promotion.
35. Each Eligible Entrant also agrees that the Promoter may publish or cause to be published the winners’ names
and localities in any media including as required under the relevant lottery legislation. All personal information
will be stored on a secure server at the Promoter’s Partner agency. The Promoter will not use personal
information obtained in this promotion for any further marketing purposes, unless the individual ‘opts in’ to
receiving future marketing communications from the Promoter. No personal data will be disclosed to any third
parties. All personal data collated during the CC’s prizebowl promotion will be erased safely once the promotion
is over (and any opt in data shall be added to the Promoter’s main database). Eligible Entrants can gain access
to, update or correct any personal information by contacting the Promoter at the address below. A copy of the
Promoter’s Privacy Policy in relation to the treatment of personal information collected may be obtained by
contacting the Promoter.
36. If an Eligible Entrant participates in the promotion and also chooses to “opt-in”, the Eligible Entrant
acknowledges that a further primary purpose for collection of the Eligible Entrant’s personal information by
the Promoter is to enable the Promoter to use the information to assist the Promoter in improving goods and
services and to contact the Eligible Entrant in the future with information on special offers or provide the Eligible
Entrant with marketing materials via any medium including mail, telephone and commercial electronic messages
(SMS (Short Message Service), MMS (Multimedia Message Service), IM (Instant Messaging) and email) or
any other form of electronic, emerging, digital or conventional communications channel whether existing now

Prizebowl Draws will be conducted on the dates and
times as stated in Condition 11 (Promotional Periods) and will take place at Message Media Interactive, Level

at 12:00pm (AEDT).

All other costs including meals, beverages, laundry services, spending money, transport to and
from departure point, taxes (including applicable arrival and departure taxes), insurance, travel insurance and
all other ancillary costs not expressly provided, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the
Prizebowl Draw winner and their travel companion;
Event will be overseen by an audience and an independent adjudicator;
If a
Prizebowl Draw winner lifts more than one (1) Chip at the same time out of the ‘prizebowl’ at the end of their
turn, they will be required by the Promoter to select one (1) of the Chips.
iii. Once a Chip is drawn and the number on the Chip confirmed, the Prizebowl Draw winner will be given
the corresponding (numbered) pre-sealed envelope and on opening the envelope their prize will be
revealed. Once a Chip and corresponding prize has been claimed by a Prizebowl Draw winner, that Chip/
corresponding prize will be removed from the ‘prizebowl’;
iv. The five (5) Prizebowl Draw winners will participate in the CC’s Prizebowl Event in the order they were
drawn in the Prizebowl Draws (i.e. the Prizebowl Draw winner drawn in the Prizebowl Draw on 25/10/10 will
operate the prizebowl crane first, the Prizebowl Draw winner drawn in the Prizebowl Draw on 01/11/10 will
operate the prizebowl crane second and so forth);
Travel and
accommodation are to be arranged by the Promoter or a licensed travel agent nominated by the Promoter.

recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
28. The Promoter will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in
the course of, or in connection with, this promotion if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the
reasonable control of the Promoter.
