The big DVD and Blu-Ray release of the month is action-tastic Prince of Persia starring Jake Gyllenhaal and directed by the legendary Jerry Bruckheimer, the movie is based on the long running video game series and we have a couple of exclusive clips from the DVD extras as well as an extremely awesome giveaway featuring choice merchandise from the movie including a T-shirt, leather notebook, sandals, a watch, a compass, a mouse pad and a leather bracelet!
Jake plays Dastan, an orphan who is plucked from the streets and adopted by King of the greatest empire ever known, Persia. When his father is murdered during a seige of the city of Alamut and Dastan is falsely accused of killing him, he teams up with the beautiful Princess Tamina (played by rising star Gemma Arterton) who holds the sacred dagger of time (which has the ability to rewind history) to try and set things to rights.
Co-starring the likes of Ben Kingsley, Steve Toussaint and Alfred Molina, The Prince of Persia is action packed and full of amazing special effects and dazzling acrobatics. It's released on 20 October 2010 and is available as both a standard DVD and a ValuePack Blu-Ray (which also includes a copy of the DVD).
