BOAG'S DRAUGHT GREATEST CUP NEVER RUN ON PACK PROMOTIONInformation on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
Entry is open to residents of Australia who are 18 years and over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies and outlets associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
To enter, purchase a specially marked case, six-pack or single bottle of Boag's Draught 375ml at a participating outlet during the Promotional Period. Look under the Boag's Draught bottle cap to find a trifecta of horses for the Boag's Draught Greatest Cup Never Run. The Greatest Cup Never Run will consist of a field of 24 horses as selected by the VRC and Slattery Media Group as the best over the 149 years of the Melbourne Cup. The Greatest Cup Never run will be contested via a virtual race run in accordance with the weighting and handicapping as determined by the VRC. The winning trifecta will consist of the horse names in the correct order of the first, second and third place getters in the virtual race. Entrants must retain the original winning bottle cap in order to claim their share of the prize. The maximum number of bottle caps to be randomly distributed for this promotion is 7,200,000. See

The promotion commences at 00.01 EST on 16/08/10 and closes at 23.59 EDT on 01/11/10. ("Promotional Period"). The virtual race will be broadcast on Channel 7 between race 5 and 6 on 02/11/10 and highlights will be available at
www.greatestcupneverrun.com.au after 14:00 on 02/11/10. The winning trifecta will be announced on Channel 7 at the end of the race and it will be posted on
www.greatestcupneverrun.com.au immediately after the race.
The total prize pool consists of $150,000 cash. The total number of winning bottle caps retained and submitted for verification determines the amount of prize money each winner will receive. Minimum prize to be won per winning bottle cap = $100. The $150,000 will be equally distributed between each verified winner on the basis of the number of winning bottle caps submitted per winner. The prize will be awarded by means of a crossed cheque payable to the winner where each individual prize is over $2000. For amounts less than $2000 they will be awarded by either crossed cheque or electronic funds transfer. The Promoter's decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Winners must claim their prize by visiting
www.greatestcupneverrun.com.au or calling Sayaka Tregerthan at Momentum Worldwide on (02) 8333 0094, and then submitting their original winning bottle cap for verification within 8 days of the virtual race (by 17.00 EDT on 10/11/10) to Momentum Worldwide, Level 2, 26-32 Pyrmont Bridge Road, Pyrmont, NSW, 2009. Verified winners will be contacted in writing via email or post by 12/11/10. In the event that winners cannot provide their original bottle cap by 10/11/10, they will no longer be eligible to win a prize and the total prize pool will be distributed to the total number of verified claimants in accordance with clause 6. The names of winners (and addresses of winners from SA) will be published in The Australian on 16/11/10.
The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion.
Prizes are not transferable. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if bottle caps are obtained in an illegitimate manner, forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
All valid claims for prizes will be met notwithstanding that the advertised prize pool has been exceeded. Printing errors and other quality control matters will not be used as the sole basis for refusing to award a prize.
The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any winner as a result of the winner accepting and/or using a prize (even if caused by negligence), except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Entrants will be refused service of alcohol or provision of an alcoholic beverage prize if it would breach any relevant laws, codes or policies including those of the relevant liquor licensee relating to the responsible service of alcohol. The Promoter supports the responsible service of alcohol.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
Details from entries will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties, including local lottery authorities, for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant.
