3.HOW TO ENTER
3.1The competition commences on Monday 18 October 2010 at 00.01 (AEST) and concludes on Wednesday 20 October 2010 at 23.59 ("the Competition Period"
3.2In order to enter the competition entrants must go to couriermail.com.au/sport and complete the online entry from including the entrant's Full name, email address, contact number and answer the question correctly
3.3Entrants (including the winner) may only enter in the competition once. Phone entries and Email entries via the internet or computer generation are invalid and will not be accepted.
3.4Entrants under the age of 18 years must obtain the prior permission of a parent or guardian over the age of 18 years before entering the competition.
4.PRIZES
There is one (1) winner. Prize winner will receive the corresponding prize package set out below:

4.1Prize not redeemable for cash. If for any reason the winner does not take the prize or any element of the prize at the time stipulated by the promoter, then the prize or any element of the prize will not be redeemable for cash.
4.2The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. In the event of that any prize item is unavailable; the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize item of equal or greater value. Any taxes (other than GST, if any) which may be payable as a consequence of a winner receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of the winners.

5.HOW TO WIN
5.1Each entrant who has entered the competition over the Competition Period and registered all details in accordance with clause 3 will be entered into the prize draws.
5.2.The winner/s may be announced in The Courier-Mail. (Subject to the Editor's decision). The prize winner will be notified by phone.
5.3The Promoter's decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.4In the event that a horse in the Cox Plate race is scratched and is deemed a non-starter as declared by the Cox Plate stewards, the Participant (with the corresponding horse number) will receive a cheque for $1,000.
NO LIABILITY
6.1In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter's ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to State Legislation.
6.2Queensland Newspapers Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.3Queensland Newspapers Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
6.3.1during the draw;
6.3.2whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their entry into the draw; or
6.3.3in the participation in any prize;
6.3.4as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
6.3.5due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
6.3.6in relation to failure of an SMS entry message to be received by the promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion;
6.3.7arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines or mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this promotion;
