Terms and Conditions
The promotion is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 and over, except employees and families of the Promoter and its affiliate companies, agencies and anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
No purchase necessary to qualify for entry. Entries are submitted online via an entry form located at
http://fb.smirnoff.com.au/2010/promo/oct/. Entrants are required to fill out their personal details and answer the question “Tell us in 25 words or less, if you were a DJ, what would be your DJ name and why?” Competition entries open at 3pm on 28th October 2010 and close at 5pm on 12th November 2010.
The Judging of eligible entries will take place at 5/ 113 Reservoir St, Surry Hills NSW 2010. A panel of experts will select the best 18 entries from all of the entries received. Winners will be selected from each state with the breakdown as follows:
(a) 4 winners from NSW;
(b) 8 winners from Western Australia;
(c) 8 winners from South Australia;
(d) 8 winners from Victoria; and
(e) 8 winners from Queensland.Entries will be judged based on originality. There will be eighteen winners who win for having the best entries. The panel will consist of music expert Tim Hardaker who manages the music website inthemix.com.au and lifestyle journalist and party promoter Tim Duggan. Winners will be notified by phone and e-mail on the day of judging and will also have their names published in the news feed on the Smirnoff Australia Page on the Facebook platform at

Entries will be judged on the following date: Monday 15th November, 2010
There will be eighteen prizes for the group. The prize consist of 2 x general admission tickets to Stereosonic allocated as:
4 x general admission tickets to Stereosonic at Sydney Showground, NSW - Sat 27 Nov
8 x general admission tickets to Stereosonic at Claremont Showgrounds, WA - Sun 28 Nov
8 x general admission tickets to Stereosonic at Bonython Park, SA - Sat 04 Dec
8 x general admission tickets to Stereosonic at Melbourne Showgrounds, VIC - Sat 04 Dec
8 x general admission tickets to Stereosonic at RNA Showground, QLD - Sun 05 Dec
The total maximum prize pool value is $4,860.All prizes consist of tickets only; flights, transfers and accommodation and other ancillary costs are not included. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
The winners must claim their prizes by 19th November 2010. In the event that the winner does not claim their prize by 9:00am on the above date, that winner shall forfeit his/her prize and the next best entry from the same state, as judged by the panel of experts, will be awarded the prize at 2:00pm on the above date. Winners of any unclaimed prize will be notified by phone and e-mail. They will have their names published in the news feed on the Smirnoff Australia Page on the Facebook platform on the same date that their unclaimed prize is awarded.To the maximum extent permitted by law, the promoter shall not be liable for any loss and/or personal injury suffered by or to the winner and/or his/her friend that occurs as a result of the winner’s use of the prize.
The promoter and event organizers expressly reserve the right to eject any winner (and/or his/her nominated friend) for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in the prize, or if the promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize.
The promoter reserves the right to amend, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion if, in its absolute discretion, it considers it necessary to do so, save that the promoter shall not exercise this right unreasonably, subject to any written approval from a relevant Regulatory Authority.
The promoter reserves the right to exclude any entries which it believes to be fraudulent or based on misconduct.
This promotion and these terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts sitting in this state.
An entrant’s personal data will only be held for the purpose of selecting the winner and will not be used for any other purposes whatsoever without their prior permission. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the promoter at their address set out below. Entrants grant the promoter permission to communicate with them by phone and/or email in order to provide details of the prize and/or instructions as to how the winner is to claim the prize and establish his/her entitlement to it.
