Summer sports trivia Competition
Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. By entering the promotion, entrants accept these Conditions of Entry.
2. The promotion is known as “summer sports trivia competition”.
3. The promotion commences at 00:01 (AEDT) Wednesday October 20th 2010 and closes 23:59 (AEDT) on Saturday 20th November 2010 (“Promotional Period”).
4. Entry is only open to current AUSTAR residential customers who receive the AUSTAR service during the promotional period. All employees and their immediate family of AUSTAR, its distributors, participating outlets, external auditors, platforms, and agencies connected with this promotion are not eligible for this draw
5. To enter the competition, eligible AUSTAR customers must go to austar.com.au and enter their answers to the sports trivia quiz and then tell us in 25 words or less, which sport they’ll be watching this summer and why.
6. Only one entry is permitted per eligible customer.7. The promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of the entries and to disqualify entrants who do not comply with these terms and conditions.
8. This competition is a game of skill and the most compelling or entertaining entry will win. A winner will be decided upon by 15.00 (AEDT) Tuesday 30thth November 2010.
9. The winners will be notified by email on or around Friday 10th December 2010.
10. The best entry will each receive a $500 Rebel gift voucher.
11. The maximum retail value of the total prize pool is $500 (GST inclusive).
12. The Promoter’s decision in all matters is final and binding.
13. If any of the prizes are unclaimed, within 7 days from the date of which the winners are notified, the promoter will award the unclaimed prize to the next most compelling or entertaining entry.
14. The prizes are non refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
15. No responsibility accepted for late, misdirected or entries not received due to a technical problem.
16. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner(s) must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.
