Competition Terms and Conditions

Rules of Entry:

1.Entrants must be 16years of age and over, and cannot be, nor be immediate family of, Staff and Distributors of The Job Creation Project Pty Ltd (hereinafter called “The Company”).
2.Entry is only via the form provided on this website – www.thejobcreationproject.com.au/ competition.asp
3.Entrants must provide:
•their full names (for identification purposes)
•their email address (so we can contact the winners)
•their phone number (so we can contact winners whose email addresses fail)
•their suburb or town (so we can list this with their Christian name only on the  List of Winners page in order to protect their privacy)
•the Names and the correct Current Months Codes of three businesses from  The Job Creation Project Local Business Directory that they have selected to redeem their prize value from, should they win.
Please note: entries not complying with all five of these requirements will be deemed ineligible for prizes. Should the number of an ineligible entry be drawn at any point, that entry will be immediately disqualified.  There will be an immediate redraw for the prize concerned, and this procedure shall continue until we have allocated all prizes to eligible entrants.

4.   Entrants may only enter once per month.

Duration of Competition

Each competition will start on the first day of the current month and end on the last day of that month, as time-stamped by the server on which this website is hosted.

Prizes in Competition

1.  Each month there will be three prizes drawn:

•First prize of $500 value to be redeemed for goods/service from the business/es  nominated on the winner’s entry form
•Second prize of $200 value to be redeemed for goods/services from the business/es nominated on the winner’s entry form
•Third prize of $100 value to be redeemed for goods/services from the business/es  nominated on the winner’s entry form
2.  All prizes must be redeemed within three months of the date of the email  notifying the winner of their prize.  Any prizes not redeemed within that three months will be deemed to have expired, and permission will be sought from the relevant authorities to permit the Company to redraw the unclaimed prize/s.  Any unclaimed prizes will be redrawn no sooner than three months after each original draw and the last redraw will take place on 4th July 2011 at the Bramble Bay Bowls and Recreation Club at Cnr Hornibrook Esp & Victoria Ave Woody Point, QLD 4019.

3.   Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash from either the Company or the business/es nominated on the entry.

4.  The winner of First prize will NOT be eligible to win the Second or Third prize for that same month.

     The winner of the Second Prize will NOT be eligible to win the Third prize for that same month.

5.  The prize value can be redeemed with any portion of the value being claimed from each of the three businesses the winner nominated.  For example, a First prize winner may choose to collect a maximum of $500 in goods or services from just one of the three businesses, or they may choose to redeem some of the value at all three businesses, or they may choose to redeem the value at only two of the three businesses nominated. 

6.  Goods and/or services will be supplied by the business/es involved at the same dollar value that the winner could have bought them on that same day, if they had walked in and chosen to purchase those goods using a credit card.

7.  Prize values cannot be redeemed for goods and/or services involving:
      . alcohol
      . a weapon or ammunition
      . a tobacco product
      . surgery

Total Prize Value

The total value of prizes is to be $9600, made up of $800 per month, made up of $500 value first prize, $200 value 2nd prize and $100 value 3rd prize each month.

Commencement ad Closure Date of the Competition

The competition will commence on the 1st of April 2010 and close on the 31st March 2011.

The Dates of the First and Last Draws

The first draw will take place on Saturday May 3rd 2010 and the last draw will take place on April 4th 2011.

Time of Drawing Prizes and Notification of Winners

Within 14 calendar days of the end of each month:

•the prizes will be drawn
•the winner’s name (Christian name only to protect privacy), their suburb/town and  the three businesses they selected to collect their winning value in goods and/or  services from, will be published on this site on the List of Competition Winner’s  page
•the three winners will be notified by email to the addresses they typed in on their entry forms.
•there will be no publication of prizewinners other than on this website.
•we will also notify the nine businesses who have been nominated on the three winning entries.
 How Prizes will be Drawn

1.   Each month, the three prizes (first, second and third) will be drawn using an EzyDraw lottery machine made by BS Australia.  This machine is owned by the Bramble Bay Bowls and Recreation Club. 

2.   The draws will be held on their premises at Cnr Hornibrook Esp & Victoria Ave Woody Point, QLD 4019 and a member of that organisation will act as independent witness to the draw.

3.   The machine will be programmed via the keypad that the winning number has to be one of the numbers of the entries we have.  The total number of entries will be evident from the printout of all entries from that month, as our database will allocate a number to each entry as each entry is lodged for each month.

When the machine gives us a winning number, the entrant with the corresponding number will be the winner of that draw.

4.   The numbers for the winners will be drawn in the following order:


•First – First Prize
•Second – Second Prize
•Third – Third Prize
Redemption of Prize Values

1.  The email sent to each winner will contain their full name, the names of the three businesses they elected to redeem their prize value at, and a verification code.  The email will also notify them that the prize values cannot be redeemed for cash and that all prizes must be redeemed within 3 months of the date of the email.

2.  The winner will take a printout of that email, together with identification eg Student ID, Drivers Licence, Credit Card etc to the business/es they wish to redeem their prize value at.

The business/es will then ring us on our 1800 number for authorisation and payment to the value of the goods being redeemed.  This will be repeated at the other business/es nominated by the winner/s until such time as the full dollar value of their prize has been redeemed.
