To win, all you have to do is send in a short video of you and/or your mates in comedy mode. We want moments that have been shot on your mobile phonecamera...Then, the 20 winners of the TA1 will be given the chance to win one of 3 Nintendo Wii Packs.

The top 20 videos
There are two ways to win one of 20 TA1 cameras:
- People's Choice Awards – the 5 entries that get the most votes will win a camera
- Judges' Choice Awards – the 15 entries deemed the most hilarious by our panel of judges will win a camera. User votes will influence the judges' decision, so keep aiming for more votes!
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. 1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry and voting is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible.
Promotion commences at 9:00am AEDST on 05/10/2010 and closes at 11:59pm AEDST on 15/11/2010 ("Promotional Period").
3. Individuals can enter and vote through the "TA1 Promotion" application on the Facebook Platform. This is located on the "TA1 Promotion" tab on the Panasonic page on Facebook (
www.facebook.com/panasonicaustralia).
4. Individuals must "Like" the Panasonic Page and agree to allow the "TA1 Promotion" application before proceeding to submit an entry or casting a vote.
5. To submit an entry, entrants must use the "TA1 Promotion" application to upload a "funny video they caught on the run" and submit the fully completed entry form (including their email address and phone number) by 11:59pm AEDST on 15/11/2010. The video must comply with any format and size requirements as specified by the Promoter.
6. To submit a vote in the promotion, the eligible voter must visit TA1 Promotion at http://apps.facebook.com/ta-one-promo, follow the prompts and vote in accordance with the directions.7. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not Facebook. The information they provide will only be used for the purposes as set out in these Terms and Conditions. Any questions, comments or complaints should be directed to the Promoter and not Facebook.
8. Entrants agree to the following conditions:
1. when they submit any materials for the promotion, including videos ("Content"), they, unless the Promoter advises otherwise, license and grant the Promoter, its affiliates and sub-licensees a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display such Content for any purpose in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability. They agree not to assert any moral rights in relation to such use. They warrant that they have the full authority to grant these rights.
2. They agree that they are fully responsible for the Content they submit. They acknowledge that the Promoter, in its absolute discretion, may remove any Content from display at any time for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to, where the Promoter reasonably suspects the Content does not comply with these Terms and Conditions. Notwithstanding the Promoter's right to remove any Content at any stage, the terms and warranties as set out in these Terms and Conditions will still apply. The Promoter shall not be liable in any way for such Content to the full extent permitted by law.
3. They warrant and agree that:
1. they will not submit any Content that is unlawful or fraudulent, or that the Promoter may deem in breach of any intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights, defamatory, obscene, derogatory, pornographic, sexually inappropriate, violent, abusive, harassing, threatening, objectionable with respect to race, religion, origin or gender, not suitable for children aged under 15, or otherwise unsuitable for publication;
2. they will only submit Content which they have personally created;
3. their Content shall not contain viruses or cause injury or harm to any person or entity;
4. if their Content depicts any person other than themselves, they have obtained their consent to submit the Content for the purposes of the promotion; and
5. they will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation, those governing copyright, content, defamation, privacy, publicity and the access or use of others' computers or communication systems.
Without limiting any other terms herein, they indemnify the Promoter, for any breach of the above terms of Clause 8.
9. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) each entry must be substantially unique; and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements. Incomplete, indecipherable or inaudible entries may be deemed invalid by the Promoter, in its absolute discretion.
10. Multiple votes are permitted, subject to the following: only one (1) vote permitted per person per video. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible votes may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, be deemed invalid.
11. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries, votes and entrants and voters (including an entrant's or voter's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant or voter who submits an entry or vote that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry or voting process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
12. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.
13. There will be twenty (20) winners in total. Winners will be determined by the following means: a) the five (5) entrants who submitted the entries with the top five highest number of recorded votes at the end of the Promotional Period will be determined as winners. If two (2) or more entrants receive the same amount of votes and are tied for a winning place, the tied entries will be judged by a panel of judges and the judges, in their absolute discretion, will determine the winning entry from those tied entries based on the funniest video caught on the run; and b) all remaining entries will be judged by a panel of judges and the best fifteen (15) entries as determined by the judges will also be deemed winners.
14. Each valid winner, in accordance with the above, will each be awarded a Full HD Multimedia Mobile Camera (HM-TA1) valued at RRP $249. Each of the twenty (20) winners, will also have the opportunity to win another prize by, using their Full HD Multimedia Mobile Camera to record another "funny" video in high definition, which can then be uploaded online at Panasonic.communicates.to/ta1promotion by 11:59pm AEDST on 07/12/2010. Each video must comply with the conditions set out in Clause 8 above and must not exceed 1 minute in length. Entry into this component is optional and winners will not be penalised for not entering.
15. Each of the videos submitted by winners will then be judged by a panel of judges based on the funniest video recorded using their new high definition TA1 Multimedia Mobile Camera. The best three (3) valid entries as determined by the panel of judges will each win a Nintendo Wii Pack valued at $579.85. Each Nintendo Wii Pack includes a Nintendo Wii Console with one (1) controller, Wii Sports Game, Mario Kart Wii game with Wii Wheel and Avatar Wii game.
16. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified. In the event that any prize is unavailable, due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter will offer an alternative prize of equivalent standard and specification.
18. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including as a result of mechanical tampering or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant or voter, including any votes or entries submitted by them; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
18. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including as a result of mechanical tampering or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant or voter, including any votes or entries submitted by them; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
19. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant's or voter's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly or a voter to automatically vote repeatedly, is prohibited and may render all entries or votes submitted by that entrant or voter invalid.
20. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or Entrant; (f) a prize; or (g) making and filming the video for the purpose of the promotion.
21. The laws of Australia apply to this promotion to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
22. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. If the entrant opts in at the time of entry the Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the Entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
