Kelley Stoltz 'To Dreamers'This week we are launching ‘To Dreamers’, the third album of San Francisco multi-instrumentalist and home-recording, DIY guru Kelley Stoltz thanks to Sub Pop via Inertia.
While Kelley’s previous albums have been heavily influenced by his almost religious adoration of all things Beatles, Beach Boys and Kinks, his new album blends a bit more post-punk abandon into its layered, accessible pop. Tasteful horn arrangements blow against tom-tom beats with 12-string guitars under Stoltz’s warm vocals; this new album offers a collection of oddly familiar and yet surprising tunes, like a dream itself.
