Over 20 years before he played an Elvis impersonator in 3000 Miles To Graceland, Kurt Russell played Elvis himself in the biopic appropriately called Elvis. Directed by John Carpenter, it was the first of many collaborations between the two, who would later work together on The Thing, Big Trouble In Little China and both Escape From New York and Escape From L.A. Originally made for television, Elvis is finally being given a DVD release thanks to Shock and we’ve got five copies to give away.
