Terms and Conditions for New Worldwide Brochure Competition By entering this competition, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:
1.
The prize is a Tucan Travel voucher to the value of £650; A$1000; NZ$1,250; €750; US$1,000; C$1,000; or CHF1,000. The prize value depends on the country of origin of the winner.
2.
Entrants must be 18 years of age or over.
3.
Entries close Thursday 31 December 2010. The prize winner will be drawn by Tucan Travel from worldwide entries on Monday 4 January 2011.
4.
Only entrants who have correctly answered the competition question will be entered into the prize draw. Tucan Travel’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5.
Entrants will be subscribed to the monthly Tucan Travel newsletter automatically but may unsubscribe at any time.
6.
The winner will be advised by email or telephone after the draw has been made.
7.
The prize may be used as full or part payment against the cost of any Tucan Travel services paid for in advance of travel. This may include group tours, Independent Travel packages and stopovers, Expedition Cruises and hotels and transfers, Carbon Offset Scheme donation, Inca Trail Trek, Gorilla Trek, Rio Carnival packages, insurance (Australia only), flights (Australia only), airport transfers and change fees as long as these services are purchased in advance of travel.
8.
Voucher credit cannot be used towards payment of local expenses for example the local fund, optional excursions booked whilst travelling, local tipping kitties, meals, other tips, airport taxes etc.
9.
All Tucan Travel tours and services are subject to availability.
10.

If the full value of the voucher is not used in one booking, the remaining value can be held in credit against a future booking for the same person.
12.
The voucher expires on 31 October 2011, however once the recipient has reserved their place they can change the departure date past the expiry date of the voucher, subject to availability and to administration charges.
13.
The voucher can be posted as a paper voucher or emailed to the winner.
14.
Each voucher features a unique identification number. False voucher numbers will be rejected.
15.
The voucher can be redeemed in person or by telephone via Tucan Travel offices and through our agents as listed on our website.
16.
For online bookings a note can be added at the time of booking providing the details of the unique identification number and the passport or drivers license details.
17.
The voucher is not redeemable for cash, is non-refundable and non transferable.
18.
The voucher will be issued to a named person and identification information must be provided in the form of either passport details or driver’s license details.
19.
The winner’s name and image may feature in our monthly newsletter or on our website.
20.
Tucan Travel will reproduce the lost or stolen voucher at its sole discretion at a cost of 5% of the original voucher value.
