Daily Entry
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
This document sets out the terms of participation in ABC Shop Online “Give” Competition (the “Competition”).
1. The promoter of the Competition is the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (the “Promoter”) (ABN 52 429 278 345) of 700 Harris Street, Ultimo NSW 2007.
2. The Competition is open to all Australian residents. An entrant must be an individual and not a company or organisation. Entrants under the age of 18 years must have the consent of their parent or guardian to enter. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and any organisation or individual associated with the provision of the prize(s) are not eligible to enter.
3. Each entry must be entered in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Competition, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter may in its discretion refuse to award any prize to any entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions. All relevant instructions on the Promoter's website form part of these Terms and Conditions.
4. Entry into the Competition is free.
5. The Competition opens at 10am (AEST) on 17th November 2010 and closes at 4pm (AEST) on 15th December 2010 (“Competition Period”). Any entry received after the Competition Period will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost, delayed or misdirected entries.
6. To enter the Competition you must:
(a) go to the ABC Shop website at
http://abcshop.com.au/give (“Website”) and select the daily prize you would like to win;
(b) submit a friend‟s name and valid email address through the Website; and
(c) submit your name, address, phone number and email address through the Website.
7. You may enter the Competition more than once however you must not enter the Competition more than once per day during the Competition Period. . If multiple entries received on any one day during the Competition Period contain the same email address or postal address, only the first entry received shall be eligible to win a prize.
8. There will be a maximum of 3 prizes per household for the duration of the Competition Period. The ABC will notify the entrant of any prizes received over the maximum per the one household (determined by phone number) and the prize will be resubmitted into the prize pool.
9. All valid entries will go into the „instant win‟ draw and are instantly advised by an automated computer system if they are a randomly selected winner (“Prize Winners”).

11. The total maximum prize pool of the Competition is valued at AU$4,992. All prizes from the advertised prize pool will be distributed.
12. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
13. No component of the prize can be transferred or redeemed for cash. In the event that any of the prizes become unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a similar product to the same or greater value as the original prize, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation.
14. You agree that the Promoter may use your entry and any personal details provided to the Promoter for any promotional, marketing and publicity purposes of the Promoter in any media without notice and without any fee being paid to you.
15. Decisions of the Promoter are final and will be binding on each person who enters the Competition and no correspondence will be entered into. All Prize Winners will be notified online immediately and via email within 2 days using the contact details provided. Please allow 21 days from date of notification for the delivery of the prizes. If a prize is not received within 21 days after the conclusion of the Competition a Prize Winner should contact ABC Shop Online at
shopnews@your.abc.net.au.
16. In the event that a Prize Winner is unable to be contacted, the Promoter will retain the prize for three (3) months from the date of the draw. If the prize is not claimed within three (3) months of the date of the draw, the Promoter will redraw another winner for the unclaimed prize. Should the prize be unclaimed, or the winner unable to claim the prize for whatever reason, a redraw will take place at Tuesday 15 March 2011 at ABC Ultimo Centre, 700 Harris Street, Ultimo, New South Wales, Australia.
17. If there is any event that prevents or hinders the Promoter's conduct of the Competition or the Promoter's ability to deliver the prize to the Prize Winners, the Promoter may, in its discretion, cancel the Competition and recommence it at another time under the same conditions or select another winner.
18. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this Competition, or for any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this Competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
19. To the full extent permitted by the law, the Promoter will not be liable for any injury, damages, expenses, or loss whatsoever (whether direct or inconsequential) to persons or property as a result of any person entering into the Competition or accepting or using any prize, including without limitation non-receipt of any prize and damage to any prize in transit.
20. The Promoter respects your personal information (PI). All PI collected by the Promoter will be dealt with under the ABC‟s privacy policy which can be viewed at
http://www.abc.net.au/privacy.htm or sent to any person on request. PI is collected to enable the Promoter to administer and promote this Competition and the winners. The Promoter may also use PI collected for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes. PI collected will not be disclosed by the Promoter to any third parties and in the circumstances set out in the Promoter‟s privacy policy. Any person is entitled to contact the Promoter and request access to any PI the Promoter holds about them, at any time. If an entrant does not truthfully provide all the requested PI on the competition entry form they may not be eligible to enter this Competition or win any prize.
