Score a ticket to this unforgettable war film.
The First Lebanon War - June, 1982. A lone tank and a paratrooper platoon are dispatched to search a hostile town that has already been bombarded by the Israel Air Force. It's a quick and easy job - maybe three hours at most. But matters start to get complicated. This apparently simple mission gets out of control and turns into a death trap.
Shot entirely from inside the tank - claustrophobic and filled with sweat and fear - the extraordinary sensory quality is amplified. Lebanon is an unforgettable portrait of four boys who are not fighters but find themselves killing people. It's a film about survival against a palpable threat of death, where the conflict between one's basic instincts and human conscience claims its victims.
