To enter ‘Christmas is Your Chance to Win Thousands of Prizes’ customers must, during the Promotional Period:
1. Make a purchase of $30 or more at a participating retailer at participating Stockland Shopping Centres to collect a scratch card.
2. Scratch the prize panel on the scratch card to reveal if they are an instant prize-winner.
3. If an instant winner, present the winning game card at the redemption point listed under the prize panel.
4. Complete their details on reverse of the scratch card and place the tear-off section of the card in the entry barrel(s)/box(es) to enter the $100,000 Mystery Cash draw.Promotional Period
The competition opens at 9am (local time) Wednesday 17 November and closes 12 midday (local time) Friday 24 December 2010 or when all 870,000 instant win scratch cards are distributed whichever comes first.
Conditions of Entry
1. Information on ‘How to Enter’ forms part of these ‘Conditions of Entry’.
2. One (1) Scratch card will be provided per spend of $30 or more.
3. Customers may enter more than once, but each entry requires the specified spend of $30 or more per entry within the promotional period.
4. Receipts cannot be added together to total the required spend and must be dated within the promotional period.
5. To be valid, each entry must be on a fully completed ‘Christmas is Your Chance to Win Thousands of Prizes’ scratch card, and placed in the competition entry barrel(s)/boxe(s) located in each participating Stockland Shopping Centre.
6. Entry is open to residents of Australia only.
7. Employees and the immediate families of the Promoter, participating retailers and the agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate families mean parents, siblings, spouse, children and grandparents.
8. Scratch cards that display ‘Congratulations’ and a prize under the prize panel must be presented to the redemption point listed during the promotional period. Winning scratch cards must be presented to the redemption point listed on the prize panel by 5pm Monday 31 January 2011, or the date and time specified on the scratch card in order to claim the prize.
9. No instant scratch cards will be awarded after 12 midday Friday 24 December 2010. Entries received after the close date of 12 midday Friday 24 December 2010 will not be considered.
10. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected scratch cards.
11. Entries will not be accepted via post.
12. Entries illegible, forged, mutilated, copied or tampered with in any way will not be considered.
13. Payments for partial lay-bys, bill payments such as the payment of credit card bills, bank transactions, bank fees and charges and service bills [such as gas, electricity, rates and phone bills] are not eligible to participate in the competition.
14. The major prize-winners must provide suitable photo identification to the Promoters’ satisfaction to be entitled to claim the prize.
15. If the major prize-winners are under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or guardian.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
17. Terms and conditions of the individual redemption points that donate instant prizes will apply.

Details of Prizes and Prize Values
Major prize: $100,000 Cash allocated across 30 winners.
The prize value will be determined at random. For details on the Mystery Cash Draw please see Part 2 under Date, Time and Place of Draw.
Instant Win prizes: 72,230 instant prizes
Instant prizes are donated by Stockland Shopping Centres retailers and Stockland Property Group Pty Ltd.
Total number of prizes: 72,260 (Instant Retailer Prizes plus the $100,000 Mystery Cash broken into 30 separate prizes)
Total value of instant prize pool: $662,652.14
Total value of major cash prize draw: $100,000
Total Value Of Prize Pool: $762,652.141. The prize values are correct at the authorisation date of the competition. The Promoter is not responsible for any subsequent variation in value.
2. Instant prizes are not redeemable for cash and not transferable and must be taken as offered.
Date, Time and Place of Draws
1. 30 cash prizes between the value of $2,000 and $20,000 totalling $100,000 will be allocated randomly across the participating Stockland Shopping Centres via an electronic draw at The Competition Company, 2/11 Carlisle Street Tamarama at 10am on Friday 10 December 2010. Each participating Stockland Shopping Centre marketing manager will be notified of the amount allocated to their winner in writing by Thursday 23 December 2010.
2. The 30 winners of the Mystery Cash Draw will be determined via a random draw from an entry barrel at each of the 30 participating Stockland Shopping Centres, drawn by Centre Management at 1pm (local time) Friday 24 December 2010.
3. The breakdown of these cash prizes are as follows:
- $2,000 x 22 shopping centre winner
- $3,000 x 2 shopping centre winner
- $5,000 x 4 shopping centre winner
- $10,000 x 1 shopping centre winner
- $20,000 x 1 shopping centre winner
4. Cash prizes will be awarded in the form of a cheque. Winners of the ‘$100,000 Mystery Cash Prize’ will be presented with a cheque within four weeks of being contacted by Centre Management of their win, (by Monday 24 January, 2011).5. The decision is final. No further correspondence will be entered into.
6. The winners will be contacted by phone and mail after the draw has taken place.
7. The winners need not be present at the draw.
8. If despite every reasonable effort the winner of a prize cannot be contacted, the prize will be retained for 3 months. At the end of the 3 months being 5pm Thursday 24 March, 2011 if the prize remains unclaimed, a letter will be sent to the Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing setting out full details and steps taken to try and contact the winner/s. At that stage a request for redraw will be sought.
9. Should the major prize remain unclaimed by a winner an unclaimed prize draw will take place at the participating Stockland Shopping Centre/s by Centre Management on Thursday 24 March, 10am (local time) 2011 subject to state regulation. The winner in the unclaimed prize draw will be awarded the major prize at the absolute discretion of the Promoter. The winner will be contacted by phone and advised in writing by mail after the draw has taken place.
10. The major prize-winners names will be published in The Australian Public Notices Section on Friday 7 January, 2011.
Draw for unclaimed instant prizes
Any instant prizes valued at $50.00 or more that have not been redeemed as of 5pm Monday 31 January 2011, will automatically go into a random draw from the entry barrel conducted at Centre Management at participating Stockland Shopping Centres at 10am Tuesday 1 February, 2010. Instant prize winners will be advised in writing.
Customers Information
1. By entering the promotion you give the Promoter consent to use your personal information for further purposes and promotions unless you say otherwise.
2. The Promoter agrees to keep confidential all personal details obtained by the Promoter during the Promotional Period and agrees that such information will be used for the purposes of the promotion only.
3. If the customer chooses to accept the prize, the Promoter, reserves the right to use the customers name and photograph for marketing and publicity purposes.
Liability
1. The Promoter and any companies associated with this competition, accept no responsibility for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered [including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss] or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a consequence of the use and enjoyment of any item gained via the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications
that may arise from the prize winnings or the use thereof. It is the responsibility of each entrant to seek independent advice on the possible implications this may have on their own financial situation.
3. Unless due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions, all valid prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool value will be honoured.
4. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, then it will be suspended subject to the approval gaming authorities in NSW/WA/VIC & QLD where required.
5. If this promotion is interfered with by any entrant in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to (a) disqualify any entrant and/or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
6. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to the approval of the gaming authorities where required.
7. If all or any part of any term or condition contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be declared or become unenforceable, invalid or illegal for any reason, such term or provision [or part thereof] shall be deemed severed from these Conditions of Entry and the other terms and conditions hereof shall remain in full force.
8. Printing errors or other quality control matters outside the control of individual players must not be used as the sole basis for refusing to award a prize. At the end of the lottery all existing claims to prizes and entitlements will be met notwithstanding the advertised prize pool exceeded.
