The Open Door is a mysterious pirate radio station that only appears on the airwaves on full-moon nights – and one is on its way - tonight. Angelica, a high school senior and relative goody-goody, is experiencing increasing amounts of pressure in her personal life and her new-found relationship with the school’s football star is leading to rebellious behavior and defiance.
The buzz at school is reaching fever pitch over the upcoming party after the big game – but Angelica is grounded. She tries to sneak out and when this doesn’t work she turns to the radio and finds the pirate station, whose soothing orator is both irresistible and mysterious. Spewing forth all her anger and frustration at her parents actions, her friends attitudes and current life in general, the orator assures her that all her vows and wishes will come to pass by morning...
