Yes, its been a rough year for our animated friends as seen in the art comps this year. They've been zombified, real-ified, suffered stage fright, shoved into steely robot bodies, mixed and matched, partner swapped... being the silly season, its time to see out the year with a softer, gentler approach.
Take your favourite characters from the worlds of Madman releases, anime or otherwise, and CUTEFY them! It's certainly a revered trait in Japan, and its time for our very own Kawaii, or cute - attack!
Gushingly adorable versions of tough characters are most welcome! Enjoy the extra length competition over the holidays, folks, and keep giving each other cute attacks until January!
HOW TO ENTER:
Upload your art with a brief description of the character, the scene, and any circumstances that make it extra cute!
If this is also clear from your artwork, all the better!
Artwork entered should be a TIFF or JPEG file, at least 10cm x 15cm at 300dpiPRIZES:

Entries received after this time will not be eligible for consideration by the Judges. 3.The winner will be selected by 28th January 2011. 4. Australian residents only. Employees and immediate families of Madman Entertainment Pty Ltd or Funtastic Limited are not eligible to enter. 5. The winner will be the most original and inventive answer to the question, as determined by the Judges in their absolute discretion. 6. This is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the winners. 7. The Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 8. The major prize winner will receive a prize voucher valued at $150; 1st Runner-up winner will receive a prize voucher valued at $100; 2nd Runner-up winner will receive a prize voucher valued at $75; 3rd Runner-up Winner will receive a prize voucher valued at $50. Total Combined Prize-Pool Value = $375. 9. The winners will be notified by email upon draw and publicly listed on Madman.com.au by 31st January 2011. 10. Prizes must be taken as offered and are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash. In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize is forfeited. 13. The Promoter is not liable for any entries which are lost, stolen, misdirected, delayed, illegible or damaged. 11.
