In this entertaining travelogue Clunes explores the islands that everybody knows like The Channel Islands and the Isle of Wight as well as tiny ones that are uninhabited and the ones that are home to just a few hundred people. As he wends his way across these islands he speaks to some of the people who live and work on them.
