With over $1,500 in cash and prizes up for grabs, the Langhorne Creek winemakers are looking for the shot that best represents the Langhorne Creek region.
Entry is open to professional, amateur and student photographers of all ages, and as long as the photograph has been taken within the boundaries of the Langhorne Creek Wine Region it is eligible for entry.The winning photograph will be chosen by a panel of local winemakers and a media identity – the winner will receive $1000 cash and a dozen Langhorne Creek wines. Additionally a People’s Choice winner will also be chosen with the winner receiving a dozen Langhorne Creek wines (of course as long as the winner is over 18!)

Terms and Conditions
1. The Competition is open to all residents and visitors to the Langhorne Creek Wine Region.
2. Photographers agree to represent themselves and the competition through publicity relating to the competition, if required.
3. Images are not to be manipulated or doctored in any form to create a false image. Cropping, cleaning, levels and curve adjustments are acceptable if minimal. Collages, text overlapping or significant enhancements will not be accepted.
4. Photographs must be taken within Langhorne Creek Wine Region as per the geographical indications – for details of area please visit
www.wineaustralia.com/australia/Default.aspx?tabid=44955. Entrants under the age of 18 years of age must have signed consent from a parent/guardian to enter the competition (see entry form).
6. An Entry Fee of $5 per person entering is applicable. When submitting your first entry, please ensure correct payment is included as entries will not be accepted without the person submitting the entries being registered.
7. Payment can be made by the following methods:
* Credit Card (details to be provided on the Entry Form in the payment section)
* Money Order*
* In Person (at the Langhorne Creek Memorial Hall Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm)
* Cheque* (made payable to the Langhorne Creek Grape and Wine)
* *If paying by Cheque or Money Order please record your name, and address on the reverse side.
* Receipts for Cheques and Money Orders can be issued on request.
* Credit Cards and Payment In Person methods will automatically be issued with a receipt.
8. The Judges’ decision will be final and no discussions will be entered into regarding entries.
9. Prize winners will be notified by telephone and in writing prior to 1 July 2011.
10. Winners’ images and names will be published both on the Langhorne Creek Wine Region website, facebook and twitter pages and released to the media.
11. Langhorne Creek Grape and Wine will publish a random selection of competition entries on their websites and publications, however they do not guarantee that all entries will be displayed.
12. When submitting an entry to the competition, the entrant grants permission for the Langhorne Creek Grape and Wine to copy, edit, publish and replicate the images and/or supporting information, or any part of the entry thereof.
13. Images may be published on promotional and advertising material, in displays, websites and other print and electronic media and publications.
14. Images will not be used on/for saleable products without the entrant’s permission.
15. Copyright and intellectual property of the images remains the property of the photographer and photographers will be credited for the use of their image, where possible.
16. All images are subject to approval by Langhorne Creek Grape and Wine before they are displayed by Langhorne Creek Grape and Wine.
17. The Langhorne Creek Grape and Wine reserves the right to remove any images where unfair or illegitimate practices are suspected.
18. Entrant’s personal details will only be used for the purposes of this competition and related promotion. Personal details are to remain confidential and will not be distributed to any individual or organisation without the approval of the entrant.
19. Talent release forms must be completed and submitted with your entry form for each identifiable person in the shot (if applicable). Without this form your application will become ineligible.
20. By submitting an entry to this competition and submitting the entry form, the entrant is accepting these Conditions of Entry.
