SUNSENSE CONSUMER PROMOTION – Win an Ipad every day in December 2010 iPad Promotion
1.Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
2.Entry is open to all people who are permanent residents of Australia (“Eligible Entrant”). Employees of the Promoter and their associated agencies and companies and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
3.To enter, Eligible Entrants must purchase any SunSense product and go online to www.sunsense.com.au and click through to the SunSense Win an ipad promotion link. Eligible Entrants are then required to answer the following question in 25 words or less “What doesn’t make sense like SunSense”. Eligible Entrants must fill in their name, address, phone number, email address and mobile phone number and submit their entry. All Eligible Entrants that have completed an answer in 25 words or less will be eligible to win a prize. This promotion is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. All valid entries will be judged individually on their merits, based on creativity and originality. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Eligible Entrants must keep their receipt of purchase to verify their purchase if required. 4.Eligible Entrants may enter as many times as they like, however each entry must include a separate purchase receipt. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of identity, residential address of winner and other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the Promoter’s discretion, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Eligible Entrant who is involved in any way with interfering or tampering with the conduct of the promotion.
5.The promotion commences at 8.00am AEDST on 1/12/10 and closes at 9.00pm AEDST on 31/12/10 “Promotional Period”).
6.The judging will take place at each day of the promotional period, at 9.00pm AEDST. All valid entries received within the Promotional Period will be entered into the prize draw All entries will be rolled over into the next day draw. Winners will receive an email notification within 24 hours of each daily draw. Winners will be announced weekly on the website
www.sunsense.com.au7.There will be thirty one (31) prizes in total. In total the thirty one (31) winners are those valid entries drawn as determined by the judges will receive an iPad 16Gb Wi-Fi valued at up to $629 AUD. Total value of prizes = $19,499 AUD. All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
8.The winners of the iPad will be responsible for their own service connectivity (through the service provider of their choice), and the consequent service/carrier bills.
9.The winners will be notified by telephone and via email within five (5) business days of the draw and the names of the prize winners will be published on the website
www.sunsense.com.au10.Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if considered forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
11.If necessary, the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw where the promoter is unable to successfully contact winners. This draw will take place on the Thursday 01/02/2011 in order to distribute any unclaimed prizes. All valid non-winning entries will be included in the unclaimed prize draw. Winners in the unclaimed prize draw will be notified by phone and writing within two (2) business days of the unclaimed prize draw.
12.In the event that any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written directions from the various lottery authorities.
13.Prize values are correct as at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any prizes.
14.The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery authority) modify the promotion.
15.The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
16.Details from entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion Eligible Entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional purposes without any further reference or any payment to the Eligible Entrant. 17.To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its employees, and agents shall not be liable for any claims, damages, injuries, costs, and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) as a result of, or arising out of, or in any way connected with this promotion and competition and/or its prizes or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Promoter, its employees and agents.
