Everyone who signs up to Direct Debit before 1 April 2011 will go into the draw to win one of three 12 month Quickflix memberships valued at $239.40* (inc. GST) each.

Terms and conditions - Direct Debit ‘Relax with Free Movies’ Competition

1. Information on how to enter and other details contained within promotional advertisements, form part of these conditions and participants accept these terms and conditions by entering.

2. Synergy’s (ABN 71 743 446 839) decision is final.

3. Employees and agents of Synergy and its related bodies are not eligible to enter.

4. To be eligible for entry you must be at least 18 years of age and a Synergy residential account holder in the South West Interconnected System and a Synergy Direct Debit customer.

5. To be eligible for entry you must have an email address (to access the quickflix website) and have a valid credit card, VISA/MasterCard Debit card or PayPal. Your credit card is only charged if you continue with the service beyond the gift subscription period, purchase products or incur charges for lost or damaged DVDs.

6. The ‘Relax with free movies’ competition commences on the 15/12/2010 and closes on the 01/04/2011.

7. Entry into the ‘Relax with free movies’ competition is automatic when you register for Direct Debit, up until 01/04/2011.

8. The winners must be registered for Direct Debit at the time of the draw on the 15/04/2010.

9. If you are an existing Direct Debit customer you will be automatically entered into ‘Relax with free movies’ competition.

10. The winners will be drawn by random electronic selection at 4pm on 15/04/2011 at Synergy, 228 Adelaide Terrace Perth. 

11. The total prize pool value of the ‘Relax with free movies’ competition is $718.20. The draw comprises of three $239.40, 12 month Quicklfix memberships.

12. The winners will be notified by mail and/or telephone.

13. The winners will receive their Quickflix membership cards via registered post.

14. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the recorded purchase date.

15. Prize must be taken “as offered” and cannot be varied or extended or exchanged, or transferred.

16.  Only one prize is available per customer.

17. If the stated prize is unavailable for any reason, Synergy reserves the right to offer a substitute prize of equivalent value.

18. Any additional products or services not included in the prize will need to be arranged and paid by the winner.

19. The competition winner consents to Synergy using his or her name, suburb and photograph for publicity purposes.

20. The winners are required to redeem their memberships at www.quickflix.com.au, memberships are not redeemable for cash.

21. Winners accept Quickflix standard terms and conditions. These can be found at www.quickflix.com.au

22. Synergy is not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising out of, or in any way connected with this promotion and/or the prize.

23. Synergy accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, incorrectly submitted, delayed or ineligible applications, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, theft, deletion, destruction, transmission, interruption, communications failure or otherwise.  Synergy has no control over the internet, networks or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise.

24. If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any cause beyond the control of Synergy which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, Synergy in its sole discretion may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of gaming authorities.

25. Synergy and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

26. All entries will be the property of Synergy. The information entrants provide will be used by Synergy for the purpose of conducting this promotion. Synergy may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this promotion or communicating with entrants and to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names may be published as required under the relevant legislation. Synergy’s marketing activities are subject to the national Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.

27. The promoter reserves the right to change the duration of the promotion at any time.
